well the x-mass gifting was good and got to say ed did do something right. So now they said self why not keep the gifting spirit going on in ed,

good idea bad way to do it. codes for real come on . now we have the problem of this ( CODES PLZ, FAME ME FOR CODES ) like they have more then one code at a time, gota make you laugh.

do not get me wrong gifting was good , but now fake codes are running wild on ed right now. so maybe ed team lets go back to the other way of gifting some how please.

spamming false codes are really getting old in the rooms.

ask the people who gifted during the x-mass gifting most of them are not gifting like before. maybe in next update change the gifting back to the way it was or some thing close to it.

an why drop the the payback of the items. you could of maybe did 1000 in credits instead of 350, and sell back well we will not go there. tokens are fine but 1 token per code, for real.

The problem is half of the playerbase is just a bunch of kids. It's actually kind of disgusting how people beg and troll others for codes just because they have nothing better to do with their time.

I guess it was kind of a cool idea, but the target audience does not really fit the system at all.

well whoever thought of this got it completely wrong they gave us a box to get rid of the lag in gifting, the changed fame which needed to be changed, now they bought back all the lag again you cant see most of the players to give fame to
as well so i say lets have fame in game only,that solves the fame problem, and alter gifting a bit better prizes.

Trolling was in original gifting too, atleast in this new form of gifting, the troll isn't really bothering that much, "insert the code, doesn't work, you lost 1 seconds". In original gifting, fake gifting areas were given, and you had to wait for minutes if not for hours to find it's a troll.

As you can see now, many players can't get the endless armor, because it's very expensive, now after gifting, a new player that just started today or a month ago, will find it impossible to get that armor unless he NPCed massively. If you increased credits code to 1k credits, no one will use weapons codes so you should hire credits-sell back also, and this is why credits and credits sell-back droped down for this purpose, now, we can't see credits sink items anymore. As you need 40 codes for 10k credits and 400 codes for 100k credits. With that been said, if sell back was high, the game will drown in credits.

Yes, I agree with you in this matter, the lag problem and not being able to find the person who fame'd you to fame back isn't right.
2 suggestions were already given, and we are waiting for them:
/Fame when you hide players.
Fame back button on the notification when someone fame you.

"Fame" should be based on the players Integrity, Actual PvP Skill, Composure, & how he/she presents himself. If by asking people to "fame you" and thus continue the snowball effect of begging, you are not playing a good role. I have not & never will beg, and instead like to earn fame by just being myself, the classy way. The update was good in heart, but for the most part; players true colors will come out.

It's pretty funny seeing players who never come too world 0 vendbot, the older/popular players to be exact. Come and join the bandwagon. Priorities need to shift fast in this game!

Well i guess theres no way of pleasing you people. You just keep on ranting....

I liked the gifts, love the codes even more. It was a good decision to lower sell price to 250 credits cause there were too many rich people xD.

Love the game.

Speaking as a person who participated in the christmas gifting, I have to give my opinion on this. I think the gifting system was, and is, a fairly good idea.

Sure the endless armor is incredibly expensive, but if you save your credits up, you'll get there. It might "take" a while, but so what? It's just another positive goal to aim for and look forward to.

Right now I'm enjoying the war, and the idea behind the gifting process. It's a good way to assist the game in generating revenue, it gives (and can give) people a larger percentage of sharing with one another, which, by the way is something You don't see very often in an Artix Entertainment game, and it makes epic duel stand out and go. "We've listened to the players, we're implementing a new idea and a new method of creating a way for people to not only enjoy a prize, but share that prize with others."

It's a really great idea, and it has the potential to blossom. Sure you're going to get people who ask for fame, or people who ask for a gift and that's natural. There's always going to be somebody who wants something. The reason gifting, now, may have gone down too, is because Christmas is over, which means that people who were getting gifts of money, or a bonus in their paycheck, or people who were doing it out of the spirit and goodness of their hearts, once Christmas is gone, you'll find people spend less.

I'm pleased as punch to have participated in the whole gift exchange thing, and I'm pleased that the staff decided to implement a way for you to share with others after the holiday was over with. Good for you epic duel team. This is how people can show kindness to others.

This is how you create friendships or potential allies or even just someone who maybe you'll start talking with more. This is a great idea and I'm all for it.

Idk why you guys are complaining so much about the new gift sys. It's much better than the before one. It's definitely slow, but at least you don't have to keep looking where and who is gifting! And when you miss'em, you feel miserable. At least now you know where you need to be. Even if you're late, you still have a good chance to get'em.

You can even choose whom you want to gift. And what you want to gift. I prefer the new system. Sry guys. :/
