Young Rev has 2 VRs, so I doubt it. Cyber Void has no attack that bypasses VR, plus it's dual element so it has that problem with dead hands (drawing cards you don't have the energy for).

Shadow of nulgath isn't really that good the strongest shadow characters are mostly master characters.

pactonal captain is missing master heal right?

1) So I'm taking it that Founder Champ is no longer the "best character in the game" and can be beaten by certain characters? Thank God... I thought this was gonna be like EpicDuel back in the day where if you had the Founder items, that you were "Lord Jesus" and couldn't be beaten by anyone else who didn't have that stuff... [:D] Speaking of which, what (do people say) is the best character in the game anyway?

2) Same situation above with Shadow Nully... I thought he was gonna be beast forever because one, he was an expensive special offer character (emphasis on the expensive since I suppose the more expensive it is, the more powerful), and two, because he's Nulgath. :P (of course I didn't expect this with Nulgaclause, he's a joke/holiday character) For Darkness chars, I really like Black Dragon, but is he/she/it/whatever still any good or are there any better characters that I should try to get my hands on?

3) Barvaria Zwei doesn't have Greater Heal either. Nor does she have Retribution. Plus she's a dual-element character with cards that require you to charge another element. This may just be from my experience, but 7 out of 10 times this costed me the match when I needed a certain card that character had to stay alive or win the duel when all I needed was one card to have 100% chance to end my opponent. That's why I prefer single-element chars... The only good Light character that's available to me (at least until Aphrodite returns, but that'll probably be after the Light Tourney) (ALSO with the exception of Templar, because of those ridiculous mana costs) would be PC. Is there any better Light character that's not dual-element that's better than him and none rare (for now)? (I really didn't want to ask this...)

I have pactorial champion(PAC) at lv 20, I like him, but he isn't IMO a great light char, if you need retribution, w8 till the CC packs comes back to hopefully get 1, $ doesn't=greatness

1) Correct, Founder Champ is no longer unbeatable, it's still quite good, but it can be taken down.
Some of the best characters would be:
-Great Pumpking
-Skexis Brood (Master Evo of Alpha rare)
-Templar
-Volt Engineer
-Frost Queen
-Cosoma Titan

Theres more, as different elements have different strengths.

2) I don't have Black Dragon, nor Shadow of Nulgath, but I quite enjoy Hanzo Void as he's very offense oriented. Skews Brood if you have the original Skexis is very powerful, Void Archmage has a great deck full of DoTs if you like the DoT play style more than the direct attacks of Hanzo.

3) All Dual-Element characters do have problems with drawing cards in the right order. The Light Characters that I like to use is Gold Lycan because its not a very defensive Light Character which is nice. It has some pretty good healing power as well and is faster to level than most light characters. Only problem is it's lack of Retribution. Although, honestly, the Light Tournament probably won't start before Valentines Day so you should be able to get Aphrodite and level her before the tournament starts. Love Machine is also a nice alternative if you don't have any SGs when the Valentines Day release rolls around.

Dual elements have the best CC potential.


Frost queen isn't that good lacks the Defensive capabilities even a regular cosoma can kill.

Founder champion was never all that good.

King is the best character in game cause you can play him as a pure earth or a dual element and still do very well with him.

SW could kill a Templar IMO.


Shadow was never a good character I find it best to use him with the hope of getting a 5 hit early or a poison early if not your going to be in a world of hurt.

Soooooo... Could anyone summarize the answers and answer my questions again? Different people are saying different things, so I'm not really sure anymore [&:]

EDIT: If it helps, I bought like 3 Shadow CC packs, I have 2 Void Reflections, 2 Life Drains, one 515, one 525, a few BloodRages, 1 or 2 Defends, 3 Empowers. Unsure about the quantity of some cards I've listed, can't check right now 'cause I'm on mobile, but ones I'm really sure about are the VRs, LDs, 515 and 525.

As Gorillo said, theres a lot of Shadow characters with pretty similar decks so its kinda hard to tell.

Well, with those Blood Rages, and the 525 and 515 and a neutral 525/515 Hanzo would be really good in the wild. You'd be throwing down 5 hits easily.

Cyber void isn't bad it can do an incredible amout of damage for a very low cost but its draw backs are lack of healing cards and energize only works on regular attack cards if it worked on sacrfice and bloodrage it could be the best shadow character in game.

if energize could get rid of sacrifices, Omni would be better than he already is, those sacrifices aren't always useful when you get them imo

The sacrifices are the reason monk is better than dire monk.


Just found a moose while heading to the paladin spot died using a level 3 VI.


Found him in the clearing by the lake not in the trees.

you have to spend real money to get young. For time apprentice it can be found any place on the map.

Anyone else notice how the grimlord from oversoul is a bit different than the one in AQW? Like the most noticeable difference is the size of the face on the shoulders along with some minor changes.
