To give a practical example of what I've been saying about Ranks/Levels Example: http://puu.sh/fAIIn/604592ea56.png Now this is a strenght tanky build rank 40. What we see here is a hybrid build combining between Str (Fast wins) and tank (good ratio). Now the thing is, this wouldn't be possible without ranks, for the following simple reason. Strenght builds mainly count on Strenght (High strike damage) / Dexterity (Block). So when you tell me legendary points don't equal level up points, I agree with you partially, because this applies on some builds and not all. Taking for example pure tank builds, legendary points won't give an advantage as much as level up points. (Tank builds count on pretty much all stats, level up stats give a % of crit/block/def which legendary points don't.) But on the other hand this "saying" doesn't apply on many other builds. Taking for example strenght builds. For the simple reason that those builds don't really need a % of crit/def. They are concerned about blocks. Which is one stat only. Starting first doesn't even matter in the case of these builds. So basically they can concentrate their "Level up stats" on 2 main things: HP and Dexterity (Which legendary points can't be invested on for the sake of not giving a block chance just like ordinary point.) But here is the trick. Legendary points will cover up the lack of resistance/strenght which will give more free level up stats which can be used in dex/hp while those free level up stats won't affect the build itself. Since legendary points will make it look like nothing happened. Conclusion (Comparison): http://puu.sh/fAJCb/8b018db975.jpg This is my build (rank 4) vs a hybrid build rank (40). So basically what I'm facing here is: My build + HP : + 450 HP than me. Strenght: + 100 Damage (this is normal since it's a strenght build) but. Dex: More dex than me = More blocking chance . Same defense. Tech: I have 45 more Tech, yet same "Resistance". This is what I was talking about: Legendary points cover up the lack, giving free level up stats. Now you are going to tell me that you will deflect his sidearm. Kidding right? He wil basically count on striking since he has more blocking chance. Support: Less support than me. Does it really matter? Starting first at this point? More critical hits, u bet? So basically what I'm facing here is an enhanced version of my build. Yet his build is pretty fast (Str) and a good ratio (Tank). And this is ladies and gentlemen what I'm talking about. This give one result, the high rank player will hit 200 - 250 damage easily with a "strike". While I should do the same damage atleast, I only do 150 - 200 damage at my best attacks (bot) and other attacks 130 - 150 (strike - sidearm - aux). So basically he can sit back keep clicking on strike until the battle end. So here is the fight: Him: strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike strike . = My hp 2. Le me: heal, poison, bot, aux, strike, heal, bot special, many blocks = His hp 500. This shows the huge advantage given by ranks yet, rewards are same, which shows that for devs ranks give "ZERO" advantage. And If ""If"" I defeated that player I deserve 0 more credits/exp. This "If" I defeated that build. I think I have cleared out my point. If you got anything to add, you are welcome.
