Achievements don't grant any advantage in pvp which is why I want to suggest exchanging cheevos with the same master account. Some people created their account in a earlier phase yet, as the game went on, things changed. Either their record got worse or they've been hacked, yet one thing that always stays the same and will never disappear are your cheevos. Therefore, once you create a new account under the same Master Account it's like you're basically starting new when you're really not.


What I am suggesting is not trading. If you're character is on the same master account then each character will have the same achievements.

Great idea ! It'll help the Devs to determine who's really new or who just made a smurf character ( assuming there's a limitation to account source tracking in the system ) and making cheevos similar to XBox and PlayStation's way as a great way to make them valuable and worth getting .

Well, in this case many incentives for starting a new character on the same account are gone. And there are achievements that should not be applied to other characters, such as War Achievements, 1v1/2v2/Jugg Champion, Mission-related achievements and so on. Otherwise the sole reason for starting a new character on the same account would be trying a new class, but then again you can change class on your main.

Drianx has a good point.

Image if this went into play and a level 1 was running around with a 1/1 2/2 or juggernaut cheevo when we know it is impossible for a level 1 to have a juggernaut cheevo, and extremely unlikely to have a 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 cheevo.

The same could be said of certain rare mission and boss cheevo's that also required you to be a certain level to get them.

I could also say the same for phase cheevo's seeing as with at least the alpha one you can tell if your character was there or not seeing as if you came from alpha you would have to alpha gear and unless you are titan there is no way around that.

Something like this would case mass confusion among the masses who don't know anything about the game or know little about it.

Good point. I initially meant for phase cheevos, I probably should have pointed that out more clearly in the topic. Sorry guys! I only mean phse cheevos, not battle/mission/etc cheevos

Here is two suggestions I made some time ago that give you stat boosts for achievements.
Stat boost from stars
Stats for achievements

This is not a bad idea, though coding it to allow this securely may not be the easiest thing, since the Achievement system is so hard-coded and secure already - as a result, changing it would be hard to do and could introduce more problems! This could also introduce a lot of confusion as you suddenly have really low levels running around from 'Beta', but with that being said, I am sure it would not cause too much of a problem if it is only phase achievements.

As said, I think that the main issue with the possibility of this feature is how easy it would be to actually implement... With the system so securely and hard-coded in, changing it without unravelling some of those security measures and without changing some of the other elements of the system may not be an easy task!

Aww well thanks Lycus that really means alot. Yea it would be confusing to see low levels running around as beta but everyone would understand that their actual master account is from beta. And hey, it may be a challenge but it could be great if that challenge is overcome

Actually not really seeing as some alts can have phase cheevo's but never level up. Remember phase cheevo's are free of cost. The only real confusing one would have been the alpha one seeing as any player who started in alpha would get the weapons along with the cheevo.

As stated, the phase achievements would likely not cause much of a problem (I was mainly explaining that I agreed with TBK's statement that it should only be the phase achievements that are universal across the accounts), I gave an example using that as being confusing, which kind of confused my post up... And now this post is getting confusing... Haha.

But yeah, what I mainly meant was that I do not really see a major problem with it just being phase achievements and I can see why a feature like that may be cool to have in! It would just be the possibility of the coding issues that could stand in its way and how much time it would take as a result (and then whether other features take priority comes into play as well).
