The Endless should have a 5% drop of the void shard " should "

Oswald Cobblepot -> RE: Endless armor (4/8/2015 11:26:45)

Should have 30% ---> 5% is worthless
We would never drop it, 30% should be anything...

Lord Machaar -> RE: Endless armor (4/8/2015 13:29:25)

Some players spent 25k credits for one void shard, just one, to complete the mission you need7, which makes it 175k credits.
Having 30% or even 5% drop chance isn't right. Except if the NPC that drops this item is whether the endless or another boss (not a regular NPC).
If a regular NPC like Big tuna or caden drops it, it should go down to 4% or 3%.

SOme players have spent 85r$ on Botanical gear now it's for credits only... credits you can get in your room seated up somewhere with your computer.
Wasting credits ain't something.

Though it is true that most people who ended up purchasing Void Shards in any quantity participated in December 2014's gifting, they took the time do so, and it is not fair to indirectly punish people due to their ability and proclivity to engage in an event; besides, there is no way to determine whether gifts from that period were sufficient (or more than sufficient) to cover the costs for any given character or whether they netted a loss of Credits.

People spent money to buy the Varium with the added bonus of items (which, incidentally, are provided fully unlocked to the character's level if received in this capacity); by definition, promos incentivize purchases (in the case of EpicDuel, transactions for Varium). I would also like to respectfully point out that $85 is an inaccurate sum.

Forgive me, but I'm not sure your assessment of Credits is very accurate; they are exceedingly difficult to earn (even in light of the new standardization for Mission rewards and the implementation of Prize Codes), and items, cores, upgrades, miscellaneous actions, and even retrains cost an inordinate amount comparatively speaking.

where's the challenge if everything comes easy...
great rewards comes from great sacrifices,,, just saying [:)]

Whoaaaa so you guys are telling me after nearly each and every op promo comes back NOW you guys are using the "Players bought that with RL money" excuse? Lollll I'm gonna excuse myself.

On topic: I think a 2% chance to drop the void shards would be fair given the fact that these cores are supposed to be hard to obtain.

On the other hand I gotta say that I agree with Dante. This game is turning into a game for children and cowards because the majority of the older players left and younger players are asking for easy ways to accomplish something. They want ranks so they npc, they want weapons so they stalk twitter for Arcade Tokens, and now they want access to a special shop so they ask for cheaper prices or any alternative routes.

With that being said, I do not support this post however Ranloth has an idea in mind in order to make void Shards more accessible to players.

TBK

Of topic

AE games are aimed at children so no matter who the game was originally aimed at before when AE merged with ED it became for the kiddies with older players being along for the ride.

On topic

I can't support this idea either seeing it spits in the faces of the players who actually

A) got the shards through gift

B) Got the credits to by the shards if not for gifting.

The berserker killer -> RE: Endless armor (4/13/2015 16:44:47)

I know that. ED wasn't always part of AE though. It was Epic.
