Keep in mind Tomix said it wouldn't be murder within the context. There are a few ways that could be interpreted: one is that we do it because we think it's necessary, not just to gain power or be evil or whatever, however considering it has to be a completely optional choice that seems extremely unlikely (I really don't see how they could have it both ways when Ash said that it will be clearly spelled-out that it's an optional choice); another is that Aegis doesn't die. He is a spirit after all, who knows what eating him would do. It could also, of course, be neither of those things but something else altogether, though I can't think of what.

so if someone felt it was needed to and a different hero felt it was fine, then they could eat Twilly or another hero, ect if it would make them stronger then it wouldn't be murder within the context?

if it isn't the same then why?

I am not saying anything else about being evil or what not just something I wanted to know seeing as it could be seen the same way.

Where did anyone ever say that power alone would make it not murder? If eating Twilly was necessary for some reason (to stop an unstoppable badguy for example, through power or otherwise), or if Twilly wouldn't die when we ate him, then no, I wouldn't view it as murder. Just like what I just said about Aegis. Like, one post up. :|

TL;DR - They are the same. Except that Twilly isn't a spirit so I'm pretty sure that eating him would definitely kill him.
