the game will always be inbalanced, but if u give it more stratergy more thinking etc you can counter stupid people with good builds. u could also make things that defy stratergy at later levels so new players don't get discouraged

I think the devs know strategy could help, if it doesn't already exist in the game. You should be more explicit because I don't know where to start this thread off at.
