The berserker killer -> "Extreme" Versions (6/3/2015 14:37:15)

I accept that non varium users should have access to the same gear as varium users. I don't understand it, but I accept it. It's done, all seasonals have come back or will come back for credits. Got it. However, why not create Varium only "Extreme" versions? Here's what I mean:

The "extreme" version of all seasonal rares will cost varium only, in game of course to give everyone at least a chance of buying it, however it'll have a slight change to it.

For example:

Normal Blood Hawk swords "Hawk Guardian" deals 125% primary damage. The "Extreme" version will deal 130% damage.

Normal Botanical Borgs special deals 90% damage to both enemies. The "Extreme" version will deal 95% damage.

Normal Hatchling Rush lowers all healing effects by 40%. The "Extreme" version will lower all healing effects by 45%.

I'm not saying create new bots, weapons, armors. Just remake the bot, weapon or armor with a slight buff/ 5% increase. That seriously should not be considered unfair. If anything it will give some uniqueness back to Varium.

This is in the balance section because I want your input on whether or not this would affect balance greatly.

Even though I'm a non-varium, i do agree varium players should have some sort of slight advantage. However, I doubt this will happen because variums are now just a 'short cut'

I think it's better to continue using varium as a shortcut to getting items rather than giving a direct advantage. The issue right now is that for the most part items simply have only cosmetic uses. If items had stats then there would be in game benefits to getting more newer/better items. A balance between buying these items with credits for higher amounts or varium (hence the shortcut) would be the varium advantage.

not supported ! cause this is the plan of ed from the start ! to use any weapon u like bt u have to earn it first , but if u don't like to work for it you can buy it using varium as a shortcut . it has been around for ages , like enhancements u could buy it with credits also but it cost less with varium as a shortcut . but for seasonal rares idk varium users get a year advantage on others . so ur idea is a no no .

I get that varium is just supposed to be a shortcut. Which is why I said that instead of these Extreme versions being promos, they will be sold in shops. Players can complete surveys for varium using the Portal
