This would require the weapon to have its very own animation placed on the model. In most cases, wrist blade animations would work well with bareknuckle primaries. From previous information collected the engine might not be coded in the way to easily make it possible. Speaking of animations, bringing back the extra strike animations would be cool. Used to have 2 for each type of weapon, although I think it's only 1 now.
