Most people only do something if they get something back that does help them. Alot players are not motivated to get the Rockstar achievement or do not know about it so they do not care about fame. Most players do not have a motivation to fame back when they already received their fame from a player and do not have a contract with that player to fame back. Their social intelligence obviously is not high enough or they just do not care about fame for other reasons. A player who already has Rockstar on his active character also does not have a motivation to fame back. This does mean that the current fame system does not work properly. The fame back rate was pretty high at the beginning some months ago as it was something new that most players wanted to try out but that boost is gone now. Credits are something everyone does need and it would help to increase the low fame back rate. Faming does cost time even if it does not seem to take much time to fame someone back. Credits could even motivate players that do not care about fame and/or have Rockstar already. Thinking about a 10% chance to receive 50 credits when pressing the fame button. That would be 5 credits for every fame click in average. Especially low level characters that actually have the lowest fame back rate would benefit by a credit bonus. It would also help to counter broken characters with missing equipment that ran out of credits. They could work on faming other players to get their credits up without the need to loose alot in battles. The Rockstar achievement does require 10,000 fame. 10,000 fame in a year = 27.4 fame every day. At a fame back rate of 20% the player has to share 137 fame every day which does require about an hour fame farming while PVP duels are not going to happen much during that time as its much harder to push up fame there. This does mean that most players cannot achieve Rockstar within a year. Most players would need 2-5 years to get Rockstar. Fact is that the majority of ED players does not play ED long enough to ever get this achievement.
