In my opinion the quickest and most balanced way to diversity is allowing us to equip unlockable skill trees. Hear me out:

Skills take long to create, cores take long to create, classes take long to create and even after you create them you have to test them then balance them over a course of years. What I am suggesting is taking things that are already in game and allowing us to use them. What I am referring to is NPC Skill trees .

Here's the idea. You've already tested and created NPC skill trees so I would like to set up an option where once you defeat an npc X number of times you can have access/use his skills and his skill tree. YOUR BASE STATS STAY THE SAME. You dont get his stats but, instead, you get his skill tree (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PASSIVES OF COURSE).

Once you defeat the npc x number of times, maybe 10k times, you get the option to "Equip" his skill tree in your inventory labeled as "X's skill tree".

Npc passive skill Reroute would be changed to Battery. Npc blood lust would be changed to Mark of Blood. I am aware some NPCs have both reroute and bloodlust but that might be interesting.

So you might ask the question "why do we have classes then?". Well classes are set skill trees and set base stats that identify your character and what weapon he may use

Well NPC's have skills that improve with various stats (e.g. Exile Leader has Overload, Stun Grenade, Cheap Shot). Not a lot of NPCs will allow people to have as effective builds as you can with your class. Also, a skill tree like Legendary Titan's which has over 39 skill points will likely make you run into energy problems, especially with the skills he has.

Don't forget, you can't use their passives.

Dual I think you dint get em, having skills of exile leader, would include 12 of em anyways, and its optional, so you can use em since they are accessible or as a second option.

You dint get what bezerker had it there again, having his "skills" not the number of "skill points", if he has say 12 random skills, do you expect us to keep them maxed so we run into energy problems? titan has all skills maxed because he has 10k energy, on the other hand if we get access to those skills we wouldnt keep them at max for sure, due to energy strain, plus dump random skill points over here and there.

Well they are not so OP so np Supported at least some new builds will appear

if you had a ED client downloaded, it would be possible..
Maybe this update will cost a lot of data usage and it could lag the game, not talking about the time it would take to test it.

I don't think it'd use a lot of data simply because its already in game. All that's left is to make it available to players. This release would bring huge attention to both npcs and pvp at the same time. However you're right, theres always a possibility for lag/data usage so testing it would be very beneficial. And yes Bling, you've got the idea. We won't have their stat points or their skill points. Only their skill trees.
