Level 30-90 versions of this weapon have Mana flavor resistance. Special effects, as per the August 4th, 2015 Design Notes: quote:
If you have the Weapon equipped. - If the enemy race is "Plant" then it will weakness seek and increase all damage by 5%. - If the enemy race is "Fungus" then it will weakness seek and increase BtH by 10%. - If enemy resistance to Nature > 0 then it will weakness seek. If you have either the Helm or Cape equipped, or both. - If the enemy race is "Beast" then it will weakness seek and increase BtH by 20%. - If the enemy race is "Bug" then it will weakness seek and increases chance of a Crit on hit by 5%. - If the enemy race is "Giantkind" then it will weakness seek and increase all damage by 6%. If you have the Helm and Blade equipped. - Increases chance of a Crit on hit by 5%. If you have the Cape and Blade equipped. - Increases BtH by 5%. If you have the Helm and Cape and Blade equipped. - Increases chance of a Crit on hit by 8% and BtH by 10% These stack to an effect as well. So if you have the Cape equipped to get the trigger bonus you not only get the +5% BtH but you also get the Beast, Bug, and Giantkind effects as well! The only exception to this is if the enemy has a resistance to Nature AND is one of the race types. The blade will pick the special based on the race of the monster before it attempts to use the Nature Resistance special. (Since the race specials are a lot stronger it makes sense not to have one of them overwritten!) Nature Resist special initially included All Resist; this was changed to activate irrespective of All Resist on March 24th, 2021, then reverted on April 11th, 2021, requiring the weapon to be equipped for all weakness seeking effects.
