Wow! Your story is awesome! [8D]

I would like to see what Tolan traded for Serenity! Please continue your story!

By the way, I did see a few typos, but everyone makes mistakes, but you should try revise your work before you post it. Other than that, it's great!

Tolan BloodSoul -> RE: Tolan (8/31/2015 11:15:41)

Tolan’s Moveset:

Tolan fighting style is completely offensive. Actually, he doesn’t have a single DoT, stun, or defensive move. He is really strong, causing a lot of damage, but his accuracy is very low (1/2 chance that he will hit.) That is why all of his moves hit multiple times, to give him a higher chance to damage the opponent.

Now, to describe Tolan’s weapon. First of all, it’s a sword (I’m sure plenty of you saw that coming.) But the reason that this sword stands out is because it has two versions. A standard version, when it’s closed, and magic version, when it’s open. When the sword is open, the blade splits in half and a magic golden beam appears in the center. This is for extending reach, and for looking cool. Whatever the case may be, this feature helps a lot in making Tolan’s moves multihitters.

Tolan also uses a ball of golden light that floats in his free hand. It is mainly used in combos.

Now for the final detail. Since Tolan is an awakened knight and has a strong connection to all of the elements, it was hard to choose one single element for his weapon. So, his weapon will hit the opponent with one of the eight elements (nature, water, fire, wind, ice, energy, darkness, and light) completely random. This could be very good, or very bad.

It could be very good because he has more options to hit the opponent with. For instance, if you’re battling an opponent that is strong against fire, then you aren’t going to want someone in your group who has a constant use of fire. Tolan can change that by attacking with a different element, possibly the opponent’s weakness. But it could be bad because, what if Tolan hit the opponent with what they are strong against? I have already stated that Tolan causes a lot of damage, so what if he heals them?

Thankfully, there is only a 1/8 chance that he will hit them with the element that they’re strong against, and adding the fact that he has a 1/2 chance of hitting them, there is only 1/16 chance that he will hit them with the element that they are strong against. Of course, there is also the chance that the opponent is not strong against any of the eight elements, but that is very unlikely.

Attack:
As a wise boxcat once said, this is everybody’s favourite big red Attack button. Tolan’s attack is basic. He stabs with his sword on standard, and while keeping it stabbed, he opens it to magic, which releases the golden beam, and the slashes it upward.

Average amount of damage: 400 (Average amount of damage is assuming that all of his attacks hit and he doesn’t get any critical hits.)
Amount of hits: 3

Blade Beam:

This move is basically a different version of the standard attack. It is Tolan’s most multihitting move. Tolan opens his sword to magic, and points it above his head. A golden light shine on it, making it stronger. He points it towards the opponent and a huge beam shoots out and hits the opponent multiple times.

Average amount of damage: 420
Amount of hits: 12
Mana cost: 0
Cool down turns: 4

Magic Shear:
For those of you who don’t know, a wind shear is the opposite of a tornado. Instead of spinning horizontally, it spins vertically. Tolan turns his sword to magic, flips it in his hand so he hold it upside down, and throws it, so it spins and hits the opponent multiple times. He then catches it as it come back.

Average amount of damage: 650
Amount of hits: 7
Mana cost: 15
Cool down turns: 6

Standard sword skill:
This move really shows that Tolan doesn’t need his sword open to do anything cool! This move is only available after the use of Magic Shear. This move is the most likely to get a critical hit. First, Tolan throws his ball of golden light at the opponent, it flies off the screen. Then, with his sword still in standard, Tolan jumps at the opponent. He hits the opponent while he lands, jumps up while slashing, stays in the air for a moment, while a shine goes up his blade, then the tip shines. He then slams down, and jumps back. When he is back where he started, the ball of light he threw in the beginning comes back to Tolan while getting on last hit on the opponent.

Average amount of damage: 940
Amount of hits: 5
Mana cost: 25
Cool down turns: 8

Ball of Light:
Yep, that ball of golden light has a move named after it. This move is the most accurate, making his accuracy as standard as everyone else. The accuracy amount is only available for move. Tolan reaches his hand out with the orb in it, and it starts to split apart. A piece of the main orb breaks off and goes towards the opponent, but before hits the opponent, another piece of the main orb breaks off and follows it, The first piece of the orb hits the opponent, then a third piece breaks off and follows the second. The second piece of the orb hits the opponent, then a forth piece follows the third. The third and the forth follow the second, hitting the opponent. All of the pieces fly back and reunite together back in Tolan’s hand.

Average amount of damage: 495
Amount of hits: 4
Mana cost: 10
Cool down turns: 4

Hand to Hand:
Who needs a weapon? This move is only available after the use of Ball of Light. This move increases Tolan’s accuracy by 10 for 2 turns. Tolan stabs his sword into the ground, lets his ball of light float beside him, and balls his hands in to fists. A glow erupts from his fists, and he starts his attack. First, Tolan lunges forward, and uses this to hit the opponent, with his other hand he uppercuts. The ball of light that is floating beside him hits the opponent. Tolan backflips and hits the opponent with his foot. The ball hits the opponent. Tolan lands and does another uppercut. He then steps back and brings his fist back as well. While he is doing this, the ball of light hits the opponent, and unites with his fist that he has pulled back. With this, he does one last punch. Tolan then jumps back. As he pulls his sword out, the ball of light leaves his hand and floats over to his free hand.

Average amount of damage: 1080
Amount of hits: 8
Mana cost: 30
Cool down turns: 8

Awaken:
This is Tolan’s strongest move. It is only available after every other move has been used. Tolan begins to float up slowly. While he is doing this, his sword opens to magic form. The ball of golden light leaves his hands, floats in front of him, and plunges into his chest. Tolan’s entire body turn gold and his eyes erupt in fire. He then starts his attack. Tolan attacks the opponent 10 times in 10 different frames. Each of these frames, you can see Tolan slashing or punching his opponent. After these 10 frames, Tolan is standing in front of his opponent, and he does one last stab. His body and eyes turn normal again, and he jumps back to his original position. The ball of light reappears in his hand.

Average amount of damage: 1250
Amount of hits: 11
Mana cost: 50
Cool down turns: 20

And that’s it! Please tell me what you think!
