In my opinon, balance will be easier if each class had their own advantages/skills.

TM/BM- This class will be revamped around energy control. All energy control moves will be removed from other classes giving tm/bm an advantage for energy control

BH/Ch- These classes will be revamped around debuffs (smokescreen,malfunction)

Merc/TLM- These classes will be revamed around buff (blood commander, reflex boost, etc)

Each class will have advantages when facing eachother, for example. A BH/CH will have an advantage by being able to cut the amount of defense a Merc/Tlm has while the Merc/TLM will have a advantage of still being able to counter debuffs and take less damage.

This would make the mage classes far superior to any others , if not very careful they would have to fix the game to make this work.

Mana control is king in the meta

Blood commander and malf and smoke aren't king far from it there's a reason for that.

Tm would be far to powerful , What the bh just smoked me defence matrix level 1 - lol silly bh , I just laughed at his ace card and I have better mana control, Merc Blood commander lol def matrix his primarys worthless , or even technician and I have all the mana control, reflex boost lmao my big hitters are all energy . GG

I hope you see my point.

While I love the idea of making classes have their own advantages and disadvantages over others again (seeing as classes are meant to be different in stregths and weaknesses) Until this energy based meta is destroyed and a more balanced one comes Noobatron's point of mages having an edge over the others will be 100% true, and people will scream for TM's and BM's to either

A) get a nerf

or

B) give the other classes the same buff TM/BM got.

So while I myself love the idea I can't support it in this current meta.
