RaXZerGamingZ -> is there any special class ? (11/3/2015 0:07:32)

its just boring , no matter wich class i am it just doesnt feel special , in the description of the tech mage class it says you can fuel you're powerfull attacks , so what ? every other class can do that aswel. i just hope all classes will be special again , like BM and BH getting passive HP back and mercenary passivly taking less damage and TLM and TM be special because you can get energy back. in a quik couple of words : all classes are boring and very similar

I totally feel you. I agree that this is a huge problem with ED as of now.

I think TM is one of the more fun classes because it easily has the largest build options that you can play around with.

When I think of fun builds to play, at this point, I normally think of a single unique skill to the class and try to make a build centered around it. Right now with TLM I'm having fun running a max blood shield build which I tested extensively across multiple different stat spreads.

Basically, what I do is:

Identify a skill -> list out all different stat spreads (high hp strength, focus, caster, etc...) -> play around with them until I find a viable build which plays a lot different from other classes.

Really? Have you tried Merc/TLM? I changed to Merc some months ago and then tried TLM for the first time, and I felt a new breeze playing with those. I thnk the main issue is copying already made builds that are common in the community. I tend to test builds myself and tweak them regarding the popular ones as a counterattack. It doesn't needs to win all the battles, but if it ends up being fun, I think that's what worth in the end.

Wheres the fun in losing every match that's counter intuitive to the purpose of pvp.

People want a fun build with a good win rate.

@deathguard , bro i tried every "advanced" class more then 2 times , tech mage twice ,mercenary once and 2 times bounty hunter ( not counting the start of my character ( BH ) ) afcource switching from mercenary to tactikal is totally diffirent , it has a completely diffirent skilltree but my point is that no class special

Satafou -> RE: is there any special class ? (11/3/2015 16:22:20)

I use to change class simply because i was bored. I sold both of my stun guns just to class change for the +100th time. It's sad you have to resort to drastic measures to ease boredom, and this was years ago lol.

@RaXZerGamingZ: And I understand your point. As I said, it is my opinion and I shared it. I wasn't trying to force it to you.

PvP =/= Winning everytime.
You're setting up your standards. Do you realize they are subjective? I can enjoy my gamestyle because I feel okay with it. In that sense, it is completely logical the thread creator doesn't feels that any class is special. Neither you do but I do. Difference of opinions bring up a discussion after all.
Resuming that, you can't speak for everyone. That's a fact.

I never said you could win everytime I CLEARLY stated a good win rate.
I agree your opinions are your opinions but if we are being really honest why make a build that is fun but just loses a lot.

I have fun with builds that lose a good amount. It honestly just depends on how that build functions though.
