SO Vaxen is supposed to appear in AQ3D as one of the major villains. Anyone want to take a stab at what he'll be up to? Will it maybe involve the Mysterious Stranger since he was possibly guided to this realm by it? DISCUSS ON!

Oh man. When I heard Vaxen was going to jump timelines again, I never would've thought he would go HERE. Still, this should be interesting, seeing a villain like him have more of a story in AQ3D. It might help with him developing as a character. By the way, how did you find out he was coming to AQ3D? Was it in a newsletter or something cause I'm not too good at keeping up.

@above I believe it was mentioned somewhere on the forums by a developer. I remember seeing the post I just don't remember which developer posted it

Was hoping for original, interesting colourful villains. We get Vaxen.

@above Well Vaxen hasn't had any major character development yet, so it's possible that he might have an interesting story in AQ3D. However, it's also possible that he could be the most boring villain to ever exist since he was just born out of darkness in an instant, meaning that he has no backstory.

He's basically: uuurgh i will kill u wut, ur my master u can give me more power and protection against my enemies? DIEE BECAUSE THE PLOT ASKED ME TO KILL YOU (FOR NO BENEFICIAL REASON). add the fact his only backstory is: i was brought into this word by darkness. literally.

He could redeem himself as a villain if the link between him and the villain artifacts used to create him is explained, or better yet his spirit is of a great darkness being that already existed before his creation but needed artifacts from other great villains in order to form a stable vessel that could exist in Lore. As we go more in depth to his character analysis, it makes more and more sense that he somehow be related to the Mysterious Stranger in some way.

Sorry to dash your hopes, but an insider left a spoiler in a thread on the subject in the aqw discussion, and that was one of the QoM generals, not Mysterious Stranger. I would like to see Stranger him showing up in this again, not blasting onto the scene like he did in aqw, but operating behind the scenes, and hopefully selling us expensive, powerfull items like he usually does.
