These threads are not meant for asking questions. Please use Questions/Answers for that. Only questions pertaining to crucial information that is missing or hasn't been posted by the AQ staff by accident are allowed. For example missing SP costs for a misc or missing BtH numbers regarding a weapon etc. These threads are not meant for bug reporting. Please report any bugs you find in AQ Bugs. Attack is three hits, Fire Magic. The attack takes -50% damage. If at least one hit connects, then the monster takes Defence Loss *(-12[Fire resist][hits]/3 blocking, 1 round). It can resist with a save at a +0 bonus (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with END/LUK). Should that actually be 1.2* instead of 12? Otherwise that seems super OP :) Don't have the pet yet so I can't say if it is working with 1.2 or 12 in-game.

^ it's 12 It's basically the same as +12 BtH as your base vs 100% resistance and if all hit connect. edit: it seems like a lot but its not a sure thing since hits can miss there is a save roll. Thou at the same time since it scales with resistance so it can vary a bit just from that thou maxing out at 24 is a lot.

@ afterlife Ok I think I get it. I was doing the math with fire resist being equal to whatever % the monster had (so 100 or 130 or something like that) which had me thinking that the pet was providing ~120 defense reduction lol. Is it instead that fire resist is treated as 1 or 1.3? Regardless, cool pet mastercraft or not :)

Cap'n Froglar guest Melee Energy. Guardian only. Scales based on your Guardian Level (and Guardian MP Level for his SP upkeep cost). Attack is two hits, Melee Energy. 0.6 B/R lean.
