2. Open your char profile
3. Check medic cost


So was the cost being 140 just a bug?

Do you have a screenshot or video where Field Medic costs 140 energy? I'm looking at some YouTube videos from >2 weeks ago and I'm seeing Field Medic costing 150 energy or 150 + a multiple of 20, which is what is supposed to happen.

darn i really dont but im sure you can ask several players about the change since i have also been able to confirm it with multiple players

Regardless, 150 energy is the intended cost for Field Medic at level 1, as reflected by the latest patch notes involving changes to Field Medic's energy cost.
