The berserker killer -> Bot special Cooldown (1/8/2016 21:00:26)

I would like to make the suggestion of all bot specials to have a 10 turn cooldown.

To be honest I can't really come up with a reasoning. I just don't understand why its a 1 time use. With a 10 turn cooldown sure f5s will have a buff but if a match lasts 10+ rounds a bot special should be able to be used again

What about robots that have reuseable specials such as the

Assault bots
botanical hazards
Gamma bot
azreal borg
lionhart bots


All of these have reusable specials and if this change went into play all of these robots would be taking massive nerfs.

Also The infernal android would be getting an unneeded buff seeing as when it's special was reusable it was spammed with rage and it would make long battles in PVP a nightmare due to the nature of it's special. The same could be said of the pyro fly seeing as if the duel goes on long enough 3 vital moves will be removed instead of just one.

Well there are bots that works more than 1 time. Lionhart (50% rage), azrael borg (reduce buff on targets), bio borg (your opponent receive 50% of all damage with primary) and assault bots (reduce debuff on you). You can see, those bots that arent so effective, have a cooldown.
Maybe other bots can have a higger cd, but i think they might make focus builds really strongs, think about using 2 times the core of the infernal android, that would be like 1200 damage.

The thing is, I think a 10 turn cooldown is indeed fitting. Most people wont use their bot special until turn 3/4. That means your bots special cant be used again till 13/14. Unless you create a "survivor" build with pyro, basically full tank and plan to abuse pyro 4 turns for 40+ turns, there really isn't a problem with this suggestion.

The infernal android is built for long turn duels which means that even with a 10 turn cool down this can become problematic seeing as you making a now one time nuke reusable. Especially seeing as said nuke when it gets off cool down will be at full power.

Also what about robots that are already reuseable like the ones racing and myself mentioned?

These robots would all take hard nerfs due to this seeing as the assault bots, azreal borg, gamma bot, and lionhart bots have 3 turn cooldowns, and the botanical hazard, and bio borg have 4 turn cooldown but are reusable.

Any builds that make use of any of these robots due to their reusable ability would be lost due to this increased cooldown of 6-7 turns not to mention anyone who uses any of these reusable bots on NPC's

(for example Posion bot)

Would have a harder time using the special seeing as they would have to wait 6 more turns due to the cooldown being 10 turns instead of 4.

Bots that already have cds for their special would, ofcourse, remain the same. While bots like infernal simply reset after its used the first time.


Oh Im sorry about that too, I wasn't clear. After the special is used for the first time, then it ahs a 10 turn cool down. The specials wont initially have a 10 turn Warmup or Cooldown if the skill has not been used yet

It would be nice if IA becomes reset to its initial damage on the 10th turn
