Server maintenance until Pre-Beta!

The AdventureQuest 3D testing servers will be offline until Friday, 1/15/2016 when we officially start PRE-BETA!

What to expect!

- Alpha players keep their character names
- But the Characters are reset.
- Alpha testers will be able to pick up their rewards when they come back.
- ~5K Kickstarter backers will join us in testing!
- Regular game builds - things will start moving VERY fast
- Interface version #3
--- Everyone will initially hate it
--- Then it will grow on you.
--- Then we will do interface version #4 and everyone will love it.
--- "It is known. It is known."
- New Lighting system!
- Character pages! Will display all of your badges and incoming rewards. (Awesome!)

Our Development Goals

- STEAM! Move the game and our testers to Steam as quickly as possible
- Major gameplay and animation improvements for combat, questing, and dungeons
- Cutscenes and storytelling tests
- Long list of features from fusion to Shadowwolf transformation.
- Content! Content! Content!
- Full production schedule to be posted ASAP.

As I was writing this I got some good news! We have a working Windows 10 build at 60FPS, and also fixed a stuttering issue in Steam, which is now running at 60 FPS too! A large part of Pre-Beta will be moving the game off of the Unity3D browser plugin and showing off its true cross-platform power.

OMGZ NO AQ3D!? WHAT TO DO!?!?!?

When will Guardian become purchasable through the main site? You should probably go ahead and test that feature before Pre-Beta ends.

Hopefully you'll release the AQ3D char link option in the forums alongside the character pages.

Will CB use key invites or guarantee participation for Pre-Beta testers?
