Has this affected the game in a negative way? Here is my answer, yes. How? Can't manage factions properly, decreases thrive to play for some players, don't like wars being fought with a p2w option as a main option due to low bomb drop chances.

How can this be fixed? Add in an alternative for influence that can be earned when a war is not happening. Bring back tokens, flags, and artillery strikes. Add in new faction features and/or increase bomb drop chances to 50% or higher.

Everything's supported for obvious reasons. If not obvious then its absolutely way better than the current system. And, if I must say, PLEASE IMPLEMENT SOMETHING SO WE CAN SEE THE WINS OF OUR FACTION PLAYERS. IT DOESNT TAKE THIS LONG TO CREATE SOMETHING. PLEASE, SERIOUSLY MAN. LIKE COME ON

Or they could just reverse the change and make so every battle gives influence to the players and factions they fight in. Better yet they can make it where if I fight in the west navel area any influence I get there will go towards that cheevo and so forth.

When it is war time, they can add a multiplier to show that during war times the influence for that region is double if not triple the normal amount seeing as it is war time just like it was in the infernal war (We got influence for these wars outside of it but more if you fought in it.)

Cause no offense then trying to mimic other game systems in many ways has destroyed Epic duel and lower the competitiveness of factions.

Cumulative influence is a lot better for ED than a MOBA approach. The main reason is because MOBAs and Hearthstone are a lot better at gauging actual skill and strategy compared to ED where the only measure of a player is through their playtime.
