Very odd. Never noticed this before... How can the forums even tell if someone is a buddy? I'm positive you can't friend anyone on here...

You can add someone to your list by clicking the [image]http://forums2.battleon.com/f/image/address.gif[/image] icon under their post or in the Online Users list. Later you can manage this list from your profile.
