Yes, THEY thought that. I'm sure many other players did to, but some of us disagreed with the changes that we KNEW were coming. You can't release something that players aren't going to be happy with, especially with a small player base. Every change that goes into ED or whatever is up for discussion, players should know about it so we can give them feedback before it is released. You can't determine what effect it will have on the game by having a small team of testers. I Agree with that, that they need to upfront about changes when the active player base is (Was) a couple thousand. I, along with many other knowledgeable players (Whose names escape me, but you were probably around before and during Omega update) were criticizing the devs decision on a lot of stuff. The result was that we got shut down (not thread locked, but heavily disagreed against) by supposed testers, AKs, mods and overly optimistic players at the time. quote:
Find out what the players want, then release it I can tell you a lot of players want any pre-Omega phase back. That wont happen though. quote:
Alot of ideas that are suggested are usually shot down due to flash limitations. Is there a way to rework ideas so that they aren't in the category of flash limitations? The latest one seems to be letting this game go out into the sunset and make an Epic Duel 2 on a new engine, custom classes, some selectively desired features from the old phases, etc. Basically a new game from scratch preferably with cross platform play (Mobile and PC), so that we dont have to hear "flash limitations" to half the suggestions.
