Read on to meet the artists, writers, animators, and programmers who work hard each week with and for you to make AQW the best MMO on the internet! On August 26th, 2015 AQW implemented colored names for staff, so most Dev staff no longer have gold names, they have purple names.
AQWorlds Moderators
Keeping the game safe for all players! Several of AQW Mods also work on HeroSmash and Oversoul, while Epic Duel has its own team. On August 26th, 2015 AQW implemented colored names for staff, so most Moderator staff still have gold names.
AQWorlds Quality Assurance
Your friendly AdventureQuest Worlds team is made of up people from all over the world who have come together to make magic happen every week, but it's not enough to have artists, writers, animators, and programmers! It takes a TON of people to make AQWorlds, and listed below are those who contribute time, energy, making and breaking AQWorlds. A lot falls under the rank of tester but mostly they run through the release before it goes live to make sure everything works. If it doesn't they work to make it right. Bug Hunters do just that, hunt for bugs to squish using the reports from the Bug Tracker. On August 26th, 2015 AQW implemented colored names for staff, so most QA staff no longer have gold names. Most Testers and Bug Hunters have green names now. Web QA has teal names and White Hats have dark red names.
Player Support
The Artix Help Team are dedicated to assisting players with account, payment or technical issues. They respond to all emails sent via the Help Pages. Player Support includes the Help Team, Forum Staff and In-game Moderators, which includes AQWorlds and Epic Duel Moderators. On August 26th, 2015 AQW implemented colored names for staff, so Player Support staff still have gold names. Most AE Forum staff have teal names.
Archivists/Lorepedians
Artix Entertainment games have been around for over 10 years, that's a lot of information to keep track of. Thanks to the Archivists, Lorepedians and Wiki staff finding and recording information is a bit easier. On August 26th, 2015 AQW implemented colored names for staff, so Most of the Achivists, Wiki and Forum staff have teal names. Most Lorepedians belong to another group so their colors will be different.
