The berserker killer -> Chests (5/9/2016 6:20:01)

This idea is for ED to have chest(s) that one can open to receive rewards like credits and xp. Unlike the normal way of receiving items (direct xp and creds), chests can be stockpiled and saved for a rainy day (maybe you would want to use them during power hour). The contents of the chest vary based on the level of the chest, and the level varys based on the difficulty of acquiring said chest.

Example:

Epic Chest- 1200 xp, 15k credits, 10 tokens
Good Chest- 500 xp, 5k credits, 5 tokens
Chest- 100 xp, 1k credits, 1 token,

Chests can be won via arcade, accomplishing a difficult task, can be added on rewards for missions, and can even be a PVP drop.

supported, it could even drop small amounts of varium, which would allow players to save uo for certain seasonal items or such

That necessarily wouldn't be a bad idea. I've started playing other games and I actually am a fan of giving paid currency sometimes. a ton of the players are extremely happy

a chest with experience - YEP they have so much to teach, creepy lights would emanate from them, jeez even gifts explode! i'm supportive with this. and in epic duel, where people get the fairest match-ups at level 40, everyone could use a little help getting there sooner. double xp is already an inspiriting thing, so why not. the leveling-up journey is just the same thing over and over anyway. unless... unless you got experience from missions! can't get over a good mission with bio-esque stories/character development.
