The best thing about ED was probably its player base one of the best online player bases things like u could meet most people u know by just walking around and there was things like Oz 7 / naomi 0 everyone knew to go to hang out and just talk about ed or life. Sad to see the game go downhill to the point where its dead. Ed was my favourite game made so many good friends unlike any other game and at its high point was the best game I've ever played. Sucks seeing it become almost non existent and everyone leave it. Miss old times had so much fun.

It could be one of the main reasons why players stick around, friends. One of the few things that you can never regret in ED, which is meeting new friends and people, and some become best friends.

I liked being able to compete with premium users despite being a freeium way back in the day. Back then high HP builds were seen as terrible but I still managed a great W/L ratio. I even had people copying my build it was awesome.

Nope, not at all. At this point, we have to goto the head person in charge of AE since the devs already kinda sort of explained the situation.

Money speaks louder than words. When a game isn't bringing in desired revenue to warrant a high priority over new games or current higher earning games than it should come as no surprise that they put OverSoul and Epic Duel to the side. It's how the market works.

I agree with this discussion whole heartedly.

I recently came back into the game after having been away for years only to have people question my legitimacy for being a level 34 yet having over 15k wins.

It pains me that finding a 2v2 match used to be as quick as a 1v1 but now can take up to 5 minutes to find a match.

Most players I have encountered also seem to have no idea how to make a build that doesn't include 100 in one stat.

Since my return I think perhaps 1 in 15 battles has involved a player who actually thought about a strategic build instead of dumping points in Dexterity or Support.

The only reason I log in any more (and that's rare) is too meet up with friends and players alike.

You could say that, you can give up. But don't force others to give up hope as well. Like myself, there are others here who will push for ED to have a successor.

Old days are the best, but unfortunately this game is dead... and it will never be the same no matter what they do... they completely broke the competition in the game.

But i still login sometimes to visit my friends only. hope everyone is doing good ^^
