If you could trade Omni Knight Blade, wouldn't the original owner just be able to buy another from the Ballyhoo shop? That undermines the fact that they originally gave it to one character on our accounts. Though, I imagine that applies to Z-token packages too.

venci1199 -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 4:54:41)

captain if i put a non-guardian item from a seasonal mission that is guardian only,like the grenwog quests,will my non-guardian character be able to get it as long as he has the level.

Pepp -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 5:47:38)

Thanks - i love this new feature. only one question do i have. will this ever be considered sharable by all the characters on your MASTER PORTAL game account??

i have 35 X-guardians all level 150 an another newer account with 5 x-guardians all level 80.. i would love to be able to downgrade an pimp out my lower characters

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 6:03:58)

venci1199 if you can deposit it they should be able to retrieve it so long as they meet the normal requirements for the items "purchase". Quests like that were once available to everyone so the items themselves haven't changed.

Bolter -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 6:26:24)

eh, it says I can only have up to 31 slots, how is it possible to have 50 then?

EDIT:
This bug is fixed. The text was messed up. ~Rhubarb

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 6:27:30)

Ignore the text for now.

Bolter -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 6:47:18)

Omni Knight Blade only refers to the regular one right? The Ultra one is transferrable right?

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 6:55:04)

yep seems to be transferable.

s_venom -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 7:27:28)

So as long as one of my characters can buy and transfer said item, all of my characters can use it at the same time ?
I mean the original character can just re-buy the item.

m4k1 -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 8:02:03)

so this means that i can upgrade my rare items(like ggbs) from other chars(adventurers) by transferring the items to my guardian char?

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 8:12:19)

s_venom
Yes that works. I just took my lvl 150 Hydro Blaze Shield on my main downgraded it to lvl 90 shifted it to my lower lvl character then re-bought both the lvl 90 and the lvl 150 on my main.

m4k1
Yeah it could be used that way till adventurers(on a guardian account) get their own access. So long as they meet the lvl requirements and the item isn't a guardian tier you can then give it back to them. edit: and at worst you just downgrade it if you mess up.

edit: it could also be used to run a hard quest on your main and buy a low lvl item for a weaker alt.
Or just fund other characters in general.

edit: or even a way to "save" on GGB, get the wrong shop on the wrong character? Just buy it and shift it to the one you wanted it on.
edit: in kind you also only have to buy tokens/packadges for one character now. (not counting token need for contests or slots etc..)

venci1199 -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 8:56:01)

thanks for the answer afterlifex.

Semceck -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 9:50:36)

Can we transfer house items to the vault?

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 9:54:22)

edit: Rewording answer with new info.

In game there is a housing section for vault, so yes.

On the character page display there are sections for paintings and house guards. (ex: http://aq.battleon.com/build30/charview.asp?temp=86892010)
This would indicate while paintings and guards can be stored potentially estate buildings can not. They aren't part of normal inventory either.

Note: token item storage is disabled right now so most items can't be stored.

edit: @below

Honestly I have no idea how building storage works, some kind of hidden inventory if nothing else. So I have no idea if it can even be done.
I would argue thou they should be dropped to lvl 0 when transferred and have to be currently not in use(as a fail safe) but that's just my opinion.

Semceck -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 10:01:53)

Estate buildings should be transferable because it would be truly annoying to buy new ones and it would take months to level them up again. But the house should never be transferable for obvious reasons.[;)]

edit: @above
1) Actually all of house items (paintings, guards, buildings) are in the My house item section if you enter your inventory from any shop on Lore so logically it shouldn't be difficult at all to implement this.
2) The buildings should drop 1 level just like when you remove them from your estate. I upgraded (on spot when the button to upgrade appeared) them in like 8 months and I think no one has the pacience to do that again. [sm=zorb_smilie.gif]

Kay Oh -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 10:52:15)

Say, if I just bought a token item on main and transfer them to alt, would they still have their 48h sellback value? If so, this would be a way to transfer tokens, though you still lose some. Would transfer a bit of tokens for estates on the alt :3

Yozai -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 12:57:35)

Really nice, now my adventure can get upgraded some stuff xP

@ Captain Rhubarb will things like Crimson Crusader and Kickstarter also be able later?

Brasca123 -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 13:45:09)

Requesting for this to be FAQ'd so as this thread is never lost to the oblvion by the Forum Auto-Delete function.

Also, thank you very much for the Vault Cap'n!!!

This is exactly how transferring house items, including buildings will work.

Most of the info will be finding its way in to the storage FAQ in the Q&A most likely.

FAQ'ing this topic would be up to the GD AK/Mods but keep in mind topics auto delete because no one is using them. If they aren't being used actively they are just taking up space waiting for misplaced necro bumps. After things cool down there probably isn't going to be too much new discussion value. If there is then the topic would be active thus not in danger.

Brasca123 -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 18:23:59)

@Afterlifex. Forgot about the FAQ of the Q&A, main reason to ask that was to make sure we wouldn't lose the exact information on how it works... I think the forum post for the Item Upgrader was deleted back in the day as well... Though the FAQ of the Q&A usually solves it quite well, so I guess it was indeed a non-issue...

Well, it seems to have been FAQ'd already though, so I think it's okay, but I'll keep it in mind for the next time we get an announcement of a new function like this one.

EDIT: I FAQ'd it. If the moderators have a better plan, they can feel free to un-FAQ it. ~Rhubarb

big E -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 19:17:38)

Late to the party as always... but wow. This will keep me busy. Thank you so much Cap'n!!

All this goodness for only 500 Z's. Would easily have paid ten times as much. Easily the highlight of the year, and second best thing this decade after the Item Upgrader. Good luck topping this guys <3

Downgrader seems pretty buggy for weapons though. Trying to downgrade my Holiday Colossus (135) but even though I clearly ask it to change to Colossus (130) it instead gives me Arcane Colossus (135). I then can't downgrade to regular Colossus (135) but instead have to upgrade to it, costing me two million to start the process again. Ditto for C.O.Me.T. - tried to downgrade it, but had it turned into C.U.P.I.D. first, and then lowered from 145 to 135. Now not sure how to swap my 135 weapon back to C.O.Me.T. without first having to pay to take it up to 145 again.

In other words, when the downgrader offers two options, lowering a weapon's level or changing its type, it seems to always pick the latter no matter which option you select.

Captain Rhubarb -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 19:53:18)

@BigE thank you for discovering that bug.

I have the Downgrader fixed now to hide any combos where the level of the two items are the same.
That should fix most of the problems.

Dreiko Shadrack -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 20:14:33)

Captain, I don't think buying more slots in the vault is actually deducting the tokens from the player...I just bought 22 slots in weapons and my tokens did not go down from when I started.

big E -> RE: =AQ= Shared Vault (9/28/2016 20:25:54)

THANK YOU Cap'n!! Finally got the versions I wanted. *takes heavy swig from Cap'n's rum bottle to forget what it ended up costing*
