Loving the new vault, besides that only my X-Guardians can access it. It wants me to buy access again on my adventurer.

I assume z-token transfer will be one of the last additions to the vault, after Capn implements vault merging from your other accounts. Give it a bit of time after that to guarantee there are no huge bugs as they could be game breaking when dealing with tokens.

How will Z-token item transfers work again?

I mean, if (when it is available) I want to transfer an item I bought for 5K Z-tokens to another account and wish to upgrade it, whose tokens will it use to pay for the upgrade?

X buys [ITEM] for [LOW PRICE] and transfers it to Y;
Y uses the upgrader to get a level-appropriate version for [UPGRADE COST];
??? pays the extra Z-tokens

I would like to know where the tokens'll come from.

(1) Is it from X, so "ownership" will remain with the character who first bought it,

OR,

(2) Z-tokens are paid by Y, in which case a "shared ownership" will form, because both X & Y invested in the item

Say if you're merging a character from your other account to your main account's vault for a $5 fee, but the character already owns a vault for its original account. Will the character simply have their vault switched to link up with your main one?

Would it be possible to make the Frostval 2015 Donation items transferrable to the Shared Vault? The Beachmancer items were rewarded from a similar contest and are transferrable.

Well it was a limited time "reward" for guardian/token purchase so it makes sense it can't be transferred.

So my Mage is stuck with a weapon he doesn't use while my Warrior is stuck with sub-par Light weaponry?

So much for my grand plan. And I thought I had it all worked out.[:'(]

Umm..no?

There are other light weapons that give KB a run for it's money, all being above "par". KB isn't par [&:]
edit: if you need a list of melee light weapons head to the Q&A with the character in question.

Finally spared some tokens on this feature. Sure helps that I have 2 >50 lvl alts. One is now bmm, the second offensive glaiver. Was quite time consuming to downgrade and store/transfer, but ,considering I like such activities, entertaining at the same time. I surely hope I get to level dem twinks soon ofc. Thanks for making my main inventory look like anything non-dump-site-like! Woohoo.

I don't know what category the Crimson Crusader items fall under, but is it intended they are NOT movable into the Shared Vault? Beachmancer gear appears to be, Lightning Rod is, and both were obtainable under similar conditions, weren't they? (I have the CCBow on a character, and want to move it to my 100%proc Ranger)

Well if that doesn't work, swap characters instead? Take another character to the same level, trade over literally every other item they own, and swap the names and stats of the two characters. There ya go ^_^

(Am tempted to possibly do the same sometime in the future, if I decide I want an endgame Axemaster :P )

I'm pretty sure they just forgot to tag the axe to be transferable, did you try poking The Hollow about it?
