@Mother1

I was talking about rethinking cores on another post.
Concussive Shot: 85% damage, deflectable, 110 energy, random skill taken for only 3 turns, not re-usable. There are just so many drawbacks for such a weak core. If energy cost was removed, or damage 100% or even choose the skill to shutdown, it would be less worthless.

Now talking about pyro fly, I suggested that it removes a random skill for some turns and it's reusable. I know you might take the wrong skill, or even the right skill for not a long time, you will never know. But don't forget it's an unblockable physical attack. Isn't that already too much to be able to use it as many times you need and also take a random skill? It's still better than lots of other bots and would definitely be on my favorite bots' list.

Oh, if we are talking about bots in general, let me say some more:

- Monkakazi Special reusable but opposite element

- Infernal Android Special reusable, but resets the increased damage counting. Max damage higher, but takes a lot more turns to reach it.
example 1: First turn it's usable = 90% +2,5% each turn, max increased damage 25% (after 14 turns)
example 2: First turn it's usable = 75% damage. Increases +5% damage for each turn. Max damage: 125% (after 10 turns)
Note: There should be a counting to show its special power maybe? lol

- Assault Bot: Convert a debuff into a buff (removes debuff and add 20% of it as a buff)
Example: Smoke -30 dex. ASSAULT BOT EFFECT => convert smoke into +6 dex

- Azrael Borg: Reduces 85% or even 90% of all buff effects on an enemy OR increase damage to 100%. Or even reduces 75% and does 85% damage (it currently does 50%?)

@Front 45, Cyber Yeti and Blood Hawk aren't useless. And if you disable an opponents energy move such as Static Grenade in a pvp battle, and you're a cyber hunter, you should definitely win the battle. If you disable their mark or shadow arts, and they have IA, you're probably going to die because now they have extra damage output with IA special and you don't

Warmaker04 -> RE: Robots balance (12/13/2016 9:01:45)

They are definitely not useless

Alphaeus -> RE: Robots balance (12/13/2016 9:02:48)

I noticed you forgot the a bot.

The Botanical Borg/Dark Botanical Borg.
> Base 170 Damage. Special (single use): Deals a multi attack for 85% damage (immune to block/deflect).

IA is indeed OP. But I will agree that in my opinion it is OP in relation to the rest of the bots...which are generally underpowered. Honestly, with most bots unless you go F5 with heavy emphasis on Tech, by the mid-lvl 30s that bot isn't doing damage much different from any other weapon you have.

Because there are a few highly-powered bots, I'd like to see the rest of the bots increased in power. Instead of making all bots equal (more or less) on 170 base damage, I'd like to see each one better tailored to its effects.

Say, for example, the IA is focused upon huge damage boosts. Keep the boosts, but reduce the base damage.

Assault Bot is great for removing Debuffs, but has no offensive special. Increase the base damage and increase the %Debuff.

Botanical Borg is great for multis. Instead of a ton of reduction (I usually use it with over 630 bot damage, thus losing nearly 100 damage to the 15% decrease on the multi), make it only a 5% reduction and give a slight increase in the base damage.

Just throwing out examples off the top of my head (not intending them to be taking literally, per se). But I literally see only a handful of bots these days. Only rarely do I see the more "tactical" bots.

Warmaker04 -> RE: Robots balance (12/13/2016 12:44:46)

I agree with Stonehawk so much about the Assault Bot. It should replace the debuff with a buff. XD

Warmaker04 -> RE: Robots balance (12/22/2016 12:49:50)

The assault bot says : *Please use meeeeee*
