Sorry for my previous post, I think I was being a bit crazy What happened to passives? I don't see why they were removed. They made epicduel better, It would be a good idea to add them back.

You can search for the original thread suggesting that passives should be replaced for the full discussion, or check the devs' twitter history for an official explanation, but Battle Elf essentially sums it up here. Also, please use ED Q&A for questions next time.
