It's really unnecesary, you are only getting back the token you had wasted. Instead of getting 1 Arcade token, it could be 2x Tokens or 1 token and 50 credits.

It's just a reroll, lots of wheel-based luck games/systems have it and it functions just fine. I don't really see the need for change.

When you get a reroll you get something else. In this case you dont get anything else.

When you get a reroll you get that plus 20 extra points on the total points you have for the Arcade LB. When you care about something like that the rerolls are extremely helpful seeing as they can

A) get you closer to placing in the top 10 on the LB

or

B) extend your lead on the LB if you are in a high place.
