Melee/Magic Water Sword, click to swap Melee/Magic. No special or lean of any kind. MC effect is similar to Morningstar's, if your previous weapon attack hit, then you'll deal +(5/0.85*1.01)% damage, otherwise you get no bonus. The /0.85 is due to the 85% hit rate, and the *1.01 is due to the 1 turn delay on getting the damage bonus.

War For the Fangs reward: Arm of the Lich. Kam says:

Magic Darkness Staff, no frills in terms of lean or such. MC effect is a pair of triggers, when facing Vampire enemies, the weapon deals +10% damage and will seek between Darkness and Light, if facing a Were creature then the weapon deals +10% damage and will seek between Darkness and Fire. If for some reason you're facing something that ticks both boxes, it'll deal +10% damage and seek between Darkness, Light, and Fire.

From the Underworld Pt 3 quest: (Arcane) Tongue/Scythe of Stragath. Kam says:

Melee/Ranged/Magic Darkness Sword/Scythe/Sword. 0.65 random lean and +/- 0 BtH lean on the sword versions, 0.35 base lean and -3 BtH lean on the scythe version. You start off dealing +10% damage, this lowers until you reach +0% total after ExpectedDuratiion/2 turns with the weapon equipped, and finally -10% after ExpectedDuration turns. So if the fight takes 10 turns, you'll lose 2% damage per turn, and will be at +10% at the start of the fight, +0% after 5 turns, and -10% after 10 turns. The counter resets after each battle, but it'll keep track of the counter even if you swap weapons or such. This is a "free"/flavour effect, so for an actual MC effect it has a further +5% damage on top of the prior effect (starts at +15% total, +5% at the halfway point of the expected duration, ends at -5% once you reach the expected duration).

What is MonsterLean?

MonsterLean is a hidden modifier (well, when I say hidden, I mean that it's never been added to monster entries before now. This will probably change in the future now that these items exist) to denote whether a monster is a tank or glass cannon, ranging between 0.5 and 3. I assume it works the same way as armour leans. i.e if the monster has a lean of 0.5, then it takes and deals half the normal damage, if it has a lean of 2, then it takes and deals twice the normal damage. ~Carandor

    1 - Yes, spells regardless of source.

    2 - Yes, you need class armor or class title, not both. Though note that using a Wizard Robe without the class title is quite stupid, as the boost you get is far better than for any other class title.

    For, I think, every flavor of Righteous Claymore:

    A smaller replica of the gigantic claymore used to defeat the Wicked King. It retains the original's ability to easily slay Demons, and can swap between Melee and Magic damage by clicking the hilt!

    From the new Mecha Knight quest: Mecha Knight Sledge/Bow/Maul. Kam says:

    Melee/Ranged/Magic Darkness weapons, bow is 100 proc, other two are 0 proc. Bow has no base/rand lean and a -6 BtH lean, other two have a 0.1 base lean and a -5 BtH lean. MC is attempting DefLoss based on the % of hits that the weapon lands. It does 1 turn of -(7.59*Hits/Attempts) MRM for the Melee version, *0.75 of that for the Magic version, and -(7.69*Hits/Attempts) for the Ranged version (bit stronger due to the -6 BtH lean compared to the -5 one). The bow has a 1 and 2 hit special, both deal 2/3 damage per hit.

  • 50% chance of one hit, *2/3 total damage
  • 50% chance of two hits, *4/3 total damage
