Abaddon/Aurom Rebel's Ward Fire/Energy shields, MC allows you to click the shield to toggle on an effect that applies a STR/DEX/INT Boost status (picks one based on equipped weapon's damage type) that lasts 1 turn and costs 40% Melee to apply. This effect is applied and the SP cost charged on the first attempted weapon/special/spell hit of the turn. When the stat boost is applied, if you were attacked in the previous round by a foe afflicted with Burn/Prismatic Burn and the shield was equipped, then the stat boost gets a x1.2 boost, otherwise it's x0.9 effect (basically you go from -10% normally to +20% if condition is active, the boost basically checks if A) You had the shield equipped, B) The foe attacked, and C) The foe was Burning at any point when it attempted the attacks). The +STAT entry below is the same we use for status eaters that give you a stat boost. You'll get (40 x 0.9 = 36)% of the below value normally, and (40 x 1.2 = 48)% of the below value if the trigger condition is fulfilled, so 56.16 +Stat at Lv 150. Holly Jolly Defender Ice shield, pays MC and by default, is in Frostval Spirit mode, causing you to replenish SP at end of monster turn = to (5 x Blocks / Attempts / 0.15 = 33.33...)% Melee assuming you block every hit. Can be clicked to toggle to Frostval Panic mode, which causes you to suffer -6 to block rate, and attempts a -(15 / 1.4 / 2 / 1.5 * Hits (Max 4) = ~3.57 per attempted hit)% DmgTkn Panick on the foe at end of mob turn. Standard -(15/1.4)% DmgTkn, /2 for assumed # of enemy hits, and /1.5 for assumed duration. This has a -10 penalty to the save, and inflicts with WpnMainstat/LUK vs foe CHA/LUK. Also has Lv 31/85/125/143 Z Token versions, costing 737/2409/4620/5940 tokens, respectively. Frostval Overtarge Light shield, toggles between a default (off) state, and a mode that pays MC and +(15 / 1.4)% DmgTkn to heal (10 / 0.15 / 2 ~= 33.33)% Melee in HP per hit blocked, and (20 / 2 = 10)% Melee in SP per hit attempted against you, with the SP heal only triggering if the foe has DefLoss. Both these effects can trigger separately, and can activate up to 4 times per turn. Ravenous Dreadfiend Defender Fire shield, MC and -6 MRM (already factored into below numbers) attempts a 2-turn (15 / 0.5 / 2 / 2)% Melee Burn that seeks enemy's weakest element, Harm included. Can click to toggle between three modes, similar to the weapon. - Off, does nothing unusual, but does the Burn attempt in all modes. - On first attempted weapon/special/spell hit of the turn, eats up to 200% Melee worth of Burn from the enemy to grant you 4 turns of -(BurnVal / 1.4 / 4)% DmgTkn Fire Ele Shield, so at most you get -(200 / 1.4 / 4 ~= 35.71)% DmgTkn. - Same as 2nd mode, but with Poison instead. Herald of the Last Rose Energy shield, has an SP toggle that charges either 30% or 60% Melee in SP to attempt a (MeleeVal x TriggerMult / 1.5 / 2)% Melee Bleed after each attempted hit from the foe, so you get 10% or 20% Melee Bleed per attempted hit for 30% or 60% Melee cost, respectively. TriggerMult is x0.9 normally, but becomes x1.2 if the foe is afflicted with Fragile.
