Not necessarily past content, but what about a NG+ with a raised level cap? It sucks that the cap is still 50, even when mechs say they scale past that point

Timsii -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (6/24/2017 6:39:54)

Like Bnouze, I certainly would like an option to replay mechquest from the start with a character that has already finished the story. I always thought it was a shame that it was so hard and confusing to replay the releases you loved, compared to the other AE games. Mechquest lacks replayability. If that gets fixed, there might be some more interest in the game again.

kim346 -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (6/24/2017 17:36:15)

That's a really nice idea that Timsii has; I'm assuming that there won't be further content with this idea, but a New Game+ mode would be an interesting idea to toss around.

VoidCorrupts -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (9/2/2017 19:36:10)

When the seasonal content returns, can Mologoween receive upgraded Rockin' Werewolves (level 50) and new Dark Hunters scaled to 50 (mologoween exclusive Vampire Hunter [:D])?

What if the update dropped next month for MechQuest's 10th Anniversary? That would be cool [;)]

Maybe the Draconic Warden/Defender could return too? (it isn't too powerful either, I took PD's out just now with a level 20 Ultra Wrangler [:D]).
If we received a Flavescent Friday I bet it would be a mecha most people wouldn't mind returning (I don't think anyone even owns a Warden?! I think that might be enough to justify it returning...).

WrittenWithout -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (9/20/2017 2:02:29)

There is a shoulder weapon called "Telekinetic Orb" that i bought for my Mech. The weapon is supposed to send three projectiles at the enemy, but only two register damage, causing a potentially 50 damage weapon to deal only 30, and the cost for this weapon is the same as others that deal around 50 damage. It would be nice if this would be corrected so that I'm not wasting all my credits. Thanks!

Jcallear -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (10/8/2017 8:32:34)

what i would like to see is all the mayprill fools mechas shop events
also the aurtharian vs pirates war with the mecha shop and all the Birthday mechas

Plank -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (10/8/2017 10:36:44)

I don't think we should ask for too much, guys. We'll be lucky if the game gets updated with the seasonal events, so I wouldn't expect newer versions of older mechas or any items getting updated. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for the NG portals to re-release or the maps to re-release or anything. Especially now that it's Halloween in all the other games, I hope they release it in MQ

wolfblade101 -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (10/29/2017 3:16:08)

I would love if the devs just added all of the content into the game. At this point we honestly know the game is pretty much abandoned since the last MQ relevant design note was almost 2 years ago so why not let us enjoy everything that has been in MQ?

If I had to pick one though it would be the gear games since it is what got me into MQ in the first place and as clique as may sound I honestly don't think my life would have been the same without playing this game.

Question Mark? -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (11/22/2017 12:38:36)

Planet Mortis is what I miss above just about all else. But the seasonal events in general would be very nice! ^_^

Digital X -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (11/23/2017 10:09:56)

I loved seasonal events, christmas was THE time for me. I love the snowy mechs!

Plank -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (11/24/2017 12:05:30)

@Digital X

You know Christmas has been in Mechquest for the past 2 years, right? They never updated the game so Christmas has been constantly there, along with Friday the 13th

and yeah @Question Mark, Planet Mortis was my favorite too

Death snake1 -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (11/24/2017 12:36:09)

So, we have had multiple mentions of revisiting holiday events/Gears Games, and I *think* I found a way, or at least an idea. As of my post, Dragonfable has released the Storybook Collection which can take you to all of the holiday events. I have very little knowledge of coding, tbh, but from what I do know, once the art is changed to something more MQ based, couldn't the "destinations" for each piece just be changed to the MQ version, and just sorta add-in a Gears Games section? I may very well be WAY over simplifying things and it may be in fact super difficult, but defend myself with, I am a microbiologist, not a computer scientist. This is just an idea, but I think it would be a really nice thing to do, and can be one of the last big projects for the MQ team. Either way, still love MQ and still miss it!

Plank -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (11/25/2017 17:36:01)

@Death snake1

well, in an even simpler way of doing things, there are already NG portals to certain events (The one I'm sure of is Planet Mortis, I think there are others but I'm not sure)

But they can honestly just have those portals (and new portals for the GEAR Games) and sell them for their original price and then that would be satisfactory

NG portals were optional back then, let's keep them that way. Best case scenario for everyone (including those who own the ng portals) is just to re-release them for free. Those who didn't want to buy anything they can till enjoy the "update" and those who purchased ng portals wouldn't need to buy more. Non-star captains would still be able to play the old events and this would be easier to implement since they wouldn't need to design new house items for any events that lack a ng portal.

Shiny_Underpants -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (3/7/2018 8:50:36)

I don't know if putting holiday events on a timer is wise, anyway. Seasonals are an aspect of live games, generally; in the case of Mechquest, it may simply cause inconvenience if the holiday events are inaccessible. In its current state, it isn't the type of game that can be played on a daily, or even weekly basis for very long.
Rares are also an aspect of live games, that don't carry across to dead ones. Indeed, given their propensity for killing live ones, it seems... an odd policy.

Yeah. I just want as much of the content to return as possible. Before the inventory raise in 2011 I had to sell off all my rare mechas because I could only keep 3 at a time [:(]

Edit: Pretty sure someone will remove edit my comment to remove this information but I have found some information on the current situation of the game. I have been watching one of Korey's streams and he made a comment on MechQuest.

Apparently he knows something BIG is happening (unfortunately he didn't specify what) but it might give some people some insight and hope.

Plank -> RE: =MQ= Adding permanent content to MQ (3/26/2018 9:23:27)

Honestly I'm just kind of sad that AE seems to have dropped the idea of updating Mechquest again to release the seasonal areas. I'm still remaining hopeful but it's been around a year since they said they would
