Please use the link at the beginning of each month to view that month's posts. Additionally, some posts are undated; I have placed these in "chronological" order within the month, but under the Undated date rather than a numerical date.

Friday is Release day! - October 10, 2008 is shown to be the release date for the game, with details on what will be coming; Founder's Pet confirmed to be Baby Platinum Dragon

Great weekend! - Zorbak server replaced by Galanoth server; the first Mogloween is coming and making use of new zones, monsters, and items; Bludrut Keep from AdventureQuest will be brought to AdventureQuest Worlds

Midnight Paladin Fix! - Paladin armour equippable; details on the class and how to obtain it; Reens, Zhoom, Minimal, and Artix working on how to store classes without taking up inventory space

Best Team Ever! - Artix called in to the game room to deal with an emergency; Galanoth server online and an order placed for five more servers; friends list and parties delayed but detailed; Mogloween ready but Bludrut delayed; Warlic made music happen; /roll command works

Mystcroft- Just Released! - Mogloween hub zone of Mystcroft released with details; Safiria the Vampire Queen from AdventureQuest and Bubbles, Toil, and Trouble from DragonFable make their AdventureQuest Worlds debuts; server-wide event celebrates 6th year birthday of AdventureQuest, 1st birthday of MechQuest, and 0th birthday of AQWorlds with 3 costume armours and a load of rares

Bludrut Keep - Bludrup Keep, the first ever multi-level dungeon, is in testing and will release soon; new monsters, including one with a weapon that it can drop

That is how we /ROLL - Zhoom got trapped in the lab and Artix had to go rescue him; patch coming to address server lag and "joining lobby" issues; 80,000 new accounts created the previous Saturday, with weekdays seeing about 40,000 players each; three new servers coming soon (and two for file servers to load items faster), with names of them being voted upon
AQWorlds Release - Notes about what is included in Progressive Release version .37, including Bludrut Keep, gold cap set to 1 million, monsters having a chance to drop their weapon, and a variety of bug fixes and performance improvements; details features that the team will try to focus on including friends list, parties, increased bag space, stats, and more

The Lore Grimoire - The main storyline (Chaos) begins soon; the Lore Grimoire book is coming soon to help guide players

The Holy Bug Squisher - The weekend has been spent fixing bug issues including monsters not respawning and quest chains breaking; teaser for the choice between a Good or Evil alignment

Shonen Jump - Take 2! - Artix reads (or looks at pictures in) the magazine Shonen Jump, where there is a full page ad for AdventureQuest; Artix has learned three things from reading manga
Bug Fixed! - Minimal fixed the monster respawn bug, and Zhoom fixed the quest chain issue; fixes have been rolled to all servers
Rep Quests & Class Storage - A new type of quest reward is being worked on to increase the speed of leveling classes; class-specific unlockable rewards being worked on; Phase 2 will see armours (classes) moved to a separate tab, freeing up bag space and making collecting armours easier; teaser for the ability to customize the look of your armour

Become a Founder - Time is running out for the Founder award and Platinum Baby Dragon; founder cut-off date set at November 10
The Great Pumpkin King! - Pumpkin King enemy being added to the game on Halloween; Pumpkin King will have a chance to drop the Great Pumpkin Seed that will later turn into a mini-pumpkin pet

The Night before the... - Dialogue between Safiria and Artix revealing chainsaw weapons coming to the game and again detailing the Pumpkin Seed and subsequent pet; November is dragon month

Happy Mogloween! - Details of the Pumpkin King boss and his drops, including the Great Pumpkin Seed that will turn into a pet, the Strange Pumpkin Seed, the Great Pumpkin King Vines, and the Great Pumpkin Sword

Happy Birthday Oishii! - It is Oishii's cakeday; two longtime players requested their real life wedding have an in-game celebration, sparking talks of the first live in-game event; Miltonius has begun working on The Inquisitors; new seasonal rares are being prepared
Map & Game Improvements - Reens working on bug fixes and quest flow improvements for Willow Creek; Minimal strengthened the login and chat filters; Zhoom improved the signup system

The Month of Dragons! - Special events will be happening in AdventureQuest, DragonFable, MechQuest, and AQWorlds for the month of dragons (November); the first dragony area is being introduced, with an NPC players may recognize from other games; Zhoom should have increasing bagspace functionality ready this week, along with the change to make classes not use inventory space (hopefully); item preview to shops has been added

Dragon's Lair - This week will be the adventure into the Dragon's Lair, with a special guest NPC, new monsters and items, and AQWorlds' first dragon
Armor & Bag Space - Zhoom built a new tab for armours; players will be able to store up to 20 class armours and 20 normal items once the system goes live with the Dragon Lair release
Great Pumpkin Seed Sprouts! - Great Pumpkin Seed and Strange Seed from the Mogloween event have changed; Galanoth hinted to be the guest NPC for the Dragon Lair release

I ran out of bag space! - Even game creators fill up bag space with rares and have to clear them out; Zhoom can make Artix's bag space issue go away quickly
Bags and AC Refills - AdventureCoins will be able to be used to permanently increase bag space; 20 new bag slots will be available; AdventureCoin packages are coming; Miltonius will be releasing part 1 of The Inquisitors, featuring the largest explorable map added to AQWorlds yet

Dragon Hunting 101 - Galanoth the DragonSlayer and your fellow adventurers are ready to hunt a deadly Red Dragon; monsters in the area are all dragon-kind and have drops (pets and swords)
New Game Engine Released - Summary of changes that have been made; class armours level curve adjusted to level faster, with system rewarding rep based on level monster in relation to player level added (monster 20 levels below you will give no rep); 20 slots for class armours created to separate them from normal inventory items; new rep quests added to class trainers to rep up classes faster; level up and rank up animations added; shiny new buttons added; server stability increased

SwordFall - The city of Swordfall is growing around the remnants of Sepulchure's crashed castle; suggestion that players will be able to visit it
Founder Extended - Player request has resulted in Founder offer being extended one week; Founders get the Founder of AQWorlds title and Platinum Baby Dragon; new cutoff date is midnight, November 17th

New Game Updates - Two new servers launching soon, including a test one with chat enabled for all players and a higher player count; two helms added to Warlic's shop; Auto Attack bug fixed; Dragon's Lair regular monsters (not the Red Dragon) rebalanced to allow players to solo them for class leveling; ignore command fixed; gold cap via selling items raised to 2 million, item preview functionality improved

Click and Buy Wait? - Issue with the Click and Buy not awarding immediate upgraded being remedied by upgrading accounts by hand; the story behind the problem isn't very interesting, Artix would like to write it better; Captain Rhubarb, Safiria, and Nythera worked hard to help players; Founders and getting a bonus week

Secret of the Pet Dracolich - The city of Shadowfall will be important regardless of hero alignment; a pet dragon will be able to be transformed into a Dracolich here, with more details coming soon
Also Happening Now - DragonFable is going through Dragonslayer testing and getting new quests; MechQuest is getting two new minigames and a new Mecha model; AdventureQuest is getting the Platinum Edge rare weapon
New Game Servers - Full servers can prevent people from playing so Zhoom is setting up five new game servers and three new graphics/file servers (bringing server counts between AdventureQuest, DragonFable, MechQuest, and AQWorlds to 44); one new server will have chat enabled for all players (must be over 13 years of age and have a confirmed email address to access it); new server will test chat security as well as player capacity; chat may be turned off if too many problems are created
In Trinidad - Artix will be going to the island of Trinidad

Yahoo Emails - Yahoo Mail was blocking all emails from Artix Entertainment, causing issues with newletters and player registrations, but the issue was resolved
Other news - Dragon themed releases will continue through the month of November; all games are gearing up towards the Thanksgiving Holiday events, with the Frostval celebrations coming after those

Child's Play - Last year, Artix Entertainment send in a Gold level sponsorship to the charity Child's Play; due to Founders of AQWorlds and their Platinum Baby Dragons, Artix Entertainment was able to double their donation to a Platinum level

New Rare Member-Only Pet - Armored Red Dragon pet is coming to the game, but will only be available for a few weeks and only to Members

Dwakel Mecha - The next release will have a lot of new stuff: area, monsters, items, quests, and stuff; next week will be a special mid-week release with another brand new area (more information coming)

The Crash Site - A UFO has crashed near Willow Creek and is being defended by technologically adept Dwakels; release has seven new enemies, five new quests, and a dozen new items, including the ProtoSartorium Armour
Monster Aggro 101 - Previously, the player had to attack a monster first for it to attack back, but Zhoom and Minimal have added new behaviours; some monsters will attack if you get too close, or if certain events happen (like tripping a red laser)
Game Improvements - Summary of bug fixes and some functionality changes; player list for current area has been added; quest box will close when changing rooms; items with a sellback of 0 gold can be sold; other miscellaneous bug fixes
Big Week Coming! - Special releases coming for the holiday week, including a big holiday special zone; DragonFable is having a war with Aisha the Ice Queen and a boss fight; MechQuest has the Shadowscythe armada attack; AdventureQuest will see dragon transformations

Quick Fixes - Zhoom added level 7 and 8 enhancements for free players and a level 11 enhancement for members; Minimal adjusted monster respawns so they are no longer instantaneous

Food for Fought! - Teaser for the first ever seasonal Thanksgiving holiday event, where the food might want to play with you

GrandMaster Lunch Lady - Dialogue between Sepulchure and Chuckles; Oishii will be preparing the Harvest Festival Feast, prompting Sepulchure to order all troops pulled out of Swordhaven; the turducken is real and not enough of a challenge to Oishii

Cooking Trauma! - Oishii is excited for players to come to the Harvest Feast Festival, even if the location has changed (freak cooking accident exploded the other one); everything (literally?) can go in the oven and will come out super yummy (depending on the status of your ability to taste)
Happy Thanksgiving! - Details of the new release; three new areas, a new NPC (Oishii, drawn by Miltonius), new quest types and interactivity, free player items, bonus quest area for members, first cutscenes, first interactive NPCs

Chat Fix - An issue was fixed with the chat allowing players to send colour-coded messages; details on the outcome of some players misusing this; never give out your password to anyone, as staff members do not need it

Making an Online World - The storyline of AQWorlds is ambitious but not a remake of other games, so it needs things not seen in other games; Harvest Festival release was a good exercise for the team in introducing new functionality, but the game engine couldn't handle everything they wanted done; changes and updates being worked on to bring additional functionality; last day to obtain the Armored Baby Red Dragon for members
