@Starflame Gonna go ahead and request a two-hour extension. I should be able to get home with work, make any necessary changes to the post, and post within my deadline, but if there is an unexpected bump at work, then I could miss it.

@Draketh - you have a 24 hour extension. That said, try to get a post up as soon as possible so that everyone involved in your battle is not forced to delay significantly.

@Flagg - 12 hour extension is granted. As already stated, the sooner you get a post up, the more beneficial it will be to yourself and to others in the arena.

Part of the reason @draketh99 posted past his idle timer is my fault - I accidentally mixed up time zones when he asked how much longer he had to post and stated that he had an hour more by accident. That said, please keep an eye on your own timer, and do not solely rely on my warnings (or my feedback) to time your posts - I have made mistakes in the past.

In light of my dependence on a post that might have to come out very late tonight, I'm asking for a 24 hour extension. I doubt I'll come close to needing all of it, but as I can't be too sure of when I'll get to start the big collaboration I've laid out on Discord, I would like to err on the side of safety. The post after this one should be significantly freer and more expedient.

Absolutely. I've reached out to all involved parties ahead of time to coordinate the contents of the post, and only need the upcoming Necro post to get the actual phrasing down without bunnying anyone.

And there goes the post. As I clarified before, I've reached out to all mentioned and involved parties for consent where necessary and of adequate reference to their actions where appropriate. I secured Necro-Knight's permission to perform the takedown on Suhmat, asked Randall Flagg to provide Sylvia's reaction to Gabriel's rush away from her, and collaborated with Rayen on the start of the engagement with Dalavar. I'm glad I didn't need the full extension, but thank you for providing it.

Paragon Arenas are now locked until deliberations are over and officially announced! Announcements will be made in the soon-to-be created Finals OOC thread. Afterwards, the arena threads will be unlocked so that anyone wishing to either continue fighting or exit the arena may do so, as their stories guide them to. The Grand Arena will open (hopefully) at 12:01 am EDT (server time) on Monday, Aug. 6th. With luck, the OOC thread will be up earlier, depending on how much time is needed to make final decisions. Thank you to everyone for participating in the Elemental Championships! Even if you don't make it through to the Finals, stick around to watch and cheer on your favorites, both in the OOC thread and in the Discord server! In addition, I would love to hear feedback on how YOU, the players, felt this years ECs were run! This is my second time as Director and while I feel like I fixed my own rookie mistakes from last year, I would love to continue to improve! The feedback form may be filled out anonymously, and can be found here. For anyone here who would like to continue their own role-playing skills, I encourage you to check out either the Role Playing Academy or the Combat Training forums.
