And we have reached the final cut! Huge congratulations to everyone who made it this far, and it took quite a few read-throughs to make the decision. All of you should be proud with how you have preformed this year. That said, I (sadly) have made a decision.
Rayen, you did a wonderful job in bringing forth quite the intriguing and mystifying character. While I'm still not convinced you didn't memorize the thesaurus for Dalavar, his story was a true pleasure to read through, and I love how you've managed to keep to his high standards of, shall we say, audaciousness throughout the story. I am sad to see him leave the Arena with his story as of yet unfinished, but I hope that you enjoyed writing him as much as I enjoyed reading him. Can't wait to see who you come up with next!
Details for how to handle a departing post after a Cut can be found in the first post of this thread, but you will need to choose to either Submit, Surrender, or attack in Spite. If you do not post here (or in an exit post) within the next 24 hours to make your intentions known as to which of the 3 you choose, it will be assumed that Dalavar has Submitted, and left the arena, so as not to impeded the flow of combat for others.
Any of those remaining (or Rayen in their exit post), may include the following flavor text if you are so inclined to do so:

Apocalypse, TormentedDragon, and Kellehendros! You have 4 days (until Sunday, September 2nd, at 11:59pm EDT) to fully utilize the rest of your characters emotions and abilities! It will be close, so make sure to leave no regrets. After the Arena closes, please give me at least a day to make, and reveal, the decision as to Champion.
As a last reminder to all participants, the feedback form linked in the first post will CLOSE a week after the Champion has been announced.
