It's been a mix of both I'd say. I think when The Evil Council was an active faction a high win ratio was important to show the other factions how good we were for the competitive aspect of it. I always tried my best to get a decent ratio but sticking with one favourite build all the time has hindered it slightly. Just what I've been used to since 2009, a Focus build. I've tried a handful of builds over the years but really settled on a Focus as I find it fun. Now the war is active and has been for some time and I am putting some effort in. Quick wins are certainly favourable at least for me so I can get the war drops quicker. Even though using a high STR build for me is slightly boring as it's repetitive, during a War Rally I push that aside, and aim for the quickest wins I can, then when the Rally subsides, I go back to Focus for a ratio (or attempt to, it's not looking great at the moment!) While winning in battles in fun for me I'm one really one to dump all my stats in a single stat and abuse said skill, never have been. Focus is a good all rounder and the most enjoyable for me. But now the faction has been inactive for many years it's just plain enjoyment even if I lose a lot.
