Currently listening to Laura Brehm.
* Feint ft. Laura Brehm - We Won't Be Alone
* TheFatRat ft. Laura Brehm - The Calling.

fabri17 -> RE: Music Thread (7/22/2019 11:43:10)

Feint... nowadays I'm not following him very much but he used to be my most listened musician during school.
A song that hits right in the heart. Feint ft. Fox Stevenson & Holly Drummond - Your Own Way

Xplayer -> RE: Music Thread (7/23/2019 13:34:07)

Has it been long enough to post new tracks? Probably:

RADWIMPS - Is There Still Anything That Love Can Do? (from Makoto Shinkai's new film. It's gonna be a painful 6-7 months before it gets an NA release)

HOME - We're Finally Landing (featured in SummoningSalt's documentaries among others)

Jacob Collier (feat. Lianne La Havas) - Feel (his new album is pretty dope)

fabri17 -> RE: Music Thread (8/29/2019 0:56:15)

Every now and then I rediscover this lady's work, and everytime it seems more spectacular.
Björk - Unison

also, not gonna lie I've been playing this song on repeat for the past few days
GYARI-Akari has arrived

B.G.L. -> RE: Music Thread (9/12/2019 15:58:28)

Alright - Kent Jones

Hip Hop & RnB At The Moment #100

hertavein -> RE: Music Thread (9/19/2019 6:52:11)

Nice music collection [:D][:D][:D]

Xplayer -> RE: Music Thread (9/24/2019 11:25:56)

Jerobeam Fenderson - Planets (watch the video! This is music made by an oscilloscope so the music and visuals actually physically are made by the same source)

Snail's House - Petrichor

Sheet Music Boss (Andrew Wrangell) - AREA 51 FINAL BATTLE MUSIC (in honor of the recent Area 51 Raid)

haiduk -> RE: Music Thread (10/13/2019 19:34:33)

FC -> RE: Music Thread (11/1/2019 13:54:29)

I used to be all about that wub, but exploring chill techno has done wonders for me. Here are some goodies that I would highly recommend.
Ben Bohmer - Purple line

Kyle Watson - Sides

fabri17 -> RE: Music Thread (11/1/2019 22:48:37)

Speaking of chill techno, and forgive me for posting music from this artist several times already xD
But on some days I just shuffle play everything from Mat Zo on the Spotify. Gives a certain background rythm to the daily life.
Mat Zo - Superman

Also, it is absolutely preposterous that there hasn't been any Daft Punk yet.
Daft Punk - Beyond

FC -> RE: Music Thread (11/9/2019 2:21:02)

A fellow man of culture I see. Seeing how I'm always positively thrilled when I find new good music, I hope you're the same.
Some Format B for the chillest of the upbeat vibes
New Infected Mushroom aren't as good as they were, but they are still amazing
And of course, what kind of man would I be if I didn't put Boris here.

fabri17 -> RE: Music Thread (12/7/2019 8:00:39)

I was asked what musical genres I like, and I also said "celtic/folk rock"... but then realized that I hadn't looked those up in a while.
So I found good stuff.
Black Water County - Rise and Fall

...Was about to post more Mat Zo but Spotify reminded me that I have listened to the guy far too much lol
Instead, time to unleash that BASS, but on a chill and hip-hop-ish tune.
Culprate - No Words (ft. Madison Malone)

Xplayer -> RE: Music Thread (5/5/2020 15:13:19)

Smalls -> RE: Music Thread (8/22/2020 19:29:44)

Would it really be the OOC and would I really be Smalls if I didn't log back into here in order to post that The Killers released a new album yesterday and it's a dang banger of an album. It really feels like a return to form for them after Battle Born and Wonderful Wonderful. Fast paced, fun synths, and most importantly, no freaking ballads.
anyway throwback to the time in 09 when I made this entire board despite the killers with their entire beings because I was 13 and didn't know how to shut up abt things I liked LOL

Glais -> RE: Music Thread (8/23/2020 2:19:39)

We never spoke much but I have quite literally thought of you every single time I've heard The Killers for YEARS solely because of how much you used to talk about them on this forum.

Solar Boy -> RE: Music Thread (8/27/2020 7:45:38)

^SAME. 10+ years of "Hey, that's the Smalls band" every time I've heard "Mr. Brightside" or "When You Were Young". >___>"

I love you guys. *sobbing*

Digital X -> RE: Music Thread (8/28/2020 2:48:38)

^ *pats*

My music taste pretty is Grime and early 90's Drum N Bass. Ed Rush being a particular favourite.

Smalls -> RE: Music Thread (9/1/2020 17:35:40)

this is the mark I've left on the world, cursing people to think of me when they hear the killers LOL

Xplayer -> RE: Music Thread (11/19/2020 13:27:00)

I didn't realize the Killers made a new album, but I definitely associate them with you Smalls as much as I associate My Chemical Romance with Supertails! :D

Anyway here's some new music because why not?

Porter Robinson - Mirror

Madeon - The Prince

Yunomi - Koi no Uta (from Tonikawa)

Hakushi Hasegawa - Sea Change

See you again in a few months :P

fabri17 -> RE: Music Thread (2/12/2021 2:03:02)

Anybody who thought playing the recorder in school was boring (or whatever matter, in any case), was because they were taught wrong..!
PerKelt - Tourdion

short post but I might edit with more stuff I guess

Xplayer -> RE: Music Thread (7/20/2021 23:28:19)

Yearly post:

bill wurtz - Here Comes the Sun

Porter Robinson - Look at the Sky

The Wellermen - Wellerman

Matt Maltese - As The World Caves In (Cover by Sarah Cothran)

Skirt & PUNPEE - ODDTAXI

Might edit some more in if I find other good songs from this year.

fabri17 -> RE: Music Thread (8/18/2021 11:17:55)

Time to overcompensate for not editing my previous post by including too much stuff in this one.

Lately my background noise/entertainment turned towards anime avatar streamers, lol
Sometimes they make music, so here's some of my personal favourites.

Mori Calliope - Bully
Houshou Marine - Unison

Also, been listening to a lot of Muse.

Muse - Resistance

Rediscovered a band that I listened a lot on the pre-teenage years, hah

The All-American Rejects - Move Along

And... it changes from time to time, but this is what I currently consider the greatest electronic album ever.

Madeon - Good Faith (album mix)

Extra with some variety:

Wintergatan - Starmachine2000
Kubbi & faRk - Pikselhjerte OST (please give this short film a watch, it's phenomenal!)
The Pillows - Thank you, my twilight (Fool on cool version)
Notorious B.I.G & Nujabes mashup compilation "Life(sic)" (an excellent mix of styles, but beware strong language, that's alright at this stage right..?)
Damaris - Tusuy Kusun (figured I should throw in a bit of generally unknown genres, even if it's a couple of them mixed [festejo and danza de tijeras], even with electronic as always)
Mägo de Oz - Hechizos, pócimas y brujería (spanish... folk... metal?)
Amazarashi - Donten (japanese hiphop, but it's more like a monologue)

Smalls -> RE: Music Thread (8/23/2021 22:04:53)

logs back in to update that once again the killers have released a new album and it's sick and lorde's new album also slaps
I also saw a teenager refer to the killers as an emo pop punk band today and I felt my soul leave my body on behalf of 13 year old me
