Mother1 -> changes to Curse aura and frost aura (6/2/2019 22:39:20)

As it stands right now while these two cores while not bad are heavily underpowered. This is due to both of the only having the chance to be triggered when the opponent strikes you. here are some suggestions on how to buff these underpowered cores.

Curse aura

Instead of having it activate according to strikes have the effect passive from start to finish of the match. This means that as soon as the battle starts the opponents will have their support nerfed by a certain percent until either

(A) they are knocked out

or

(B) the person wearing the armor is knocked out.

This would be a nice little buff to the core seeing as it would now be helpful against support builds.

Frost Aura

Seeing as Passive energy drain every turn would be Overpowered with this core make it so any and all melee attacks will have the chance to trigger this core's effect.

I agree with you that both Curse Aura and Frost Aura are both underwhelming cores due to them only triggering when an opponent strikes you.

If Curse aura becomes a passive along with the Dark Omen primary core active, those two cores can counter support builds very well.

However, for the Frost Aura, would you suggest that all melee attacks including energy control attacks that ONLY take away energy and don't do damage to you (Static Grenade, Static Smasher, Atom Smash) count towards having a chance to trigger the core's effect?
