OKAY BEFORE YOU SAY NO, HEAR ME OUT. Tech Mage has like one viable build, that's basically support tech mage. With a dex change, Tech Mage can have a way to have a dexterity build, especially with deadly aim helping the sidearm damage. With dex improving malfunction, that means that the gun will be deflected less. Overload would actually have a use, because it's not used right now. We could have focus dexterity builds, (which could be a new change of pace) Tech builds can be more viable because they have more dex than they do support. EDIT: Tech Mage could also be a bit better in 2v2 with this change, be a bit tankier with strong debuff and gun. This would mean that smoke and malfunction counter each other, which wouldn't really be that bad to be honest. Now for cyber, this could be interesting. Shadow Arts can be helped if CH has more dex than before because the block rate will be decently higher. Multi could be changed back to dex. (Honestly forget about botting juggernaut, the game modes where you face real people matter, jugg doesn't) This would need testing and obviously the scaling would have to be nerfed but Tech Mage already has what it needs to start using a dexterity based malfunction right now. Okay, time for everyone to disagree with this idea.
