Gives you 20% higest stat, crit chance and extra rage (doesn't say how much). 5 turns. Have to pay 125 health.
It seems to be made for supports builds. Now possible supp builds are merc or tlm. They don't have lifesteal, so, loosing 125 hp is way too much. You can say merc could use blood commander, you will be right. But that would be 2 turns without doing a simple attack. You will attack on your 3rd turn after -125 hp + 2 turns of your opponent.

Now let me introduce you another core, Infernal Surge: Increase ALL stats by 25%!!! Cost? Nothing.

Ill compare everything, but it's just clear:

Stat increase:
Feast of flesh: Only increase your highest stat by 20%. If you have 100 supp, then you'll get 20 supp. This could be less if your highest stat is not so high. Depends on how high is your highest stat.
Infernal surge: Increase all by 25%. It alwats gives the same ammount, doesn't matter how high is your highest. Tested on Tlm it gives 52. If you have 100 supp you'll get 25 extra supp + 26 for dex, str and tech. You end up with a higher bonus to your highest stat and extra stats on the rest of your stats.

Crit chance:
Feast of flesh: Gives an extra crit chance with is not mentioned. Last 5 turns.
Infernal surge: Nothing. But, this core comes in the infernal gladiator. This armor got a passive that gives extra crit chance (7%) and ALSO crits ignores extra defense (5%). This is a passive, you have this buff all the battle.

Extra rage:
Feast of flesh: Yeah, it gives you some. But as a supp you end up having rage after 2 attacks.
Infernal surge: Nothing.

Cost:
Feast of flesh: 125 HP, and all buff last 5 turns.
Infernal surge: Literally 0 energy and hp cost.

I won't suggest to nerf infernal surge. It's good and bad at the same time. Could be good for tlm, maybe. For merc? Idk. You might just preffer to waste your first turn using blood commander.

So Feast of flesh needs to give a highest buff. You are already wasting a lot of HP. Infernal surge is a better option for supp, a really better option. So I will say that it would be better to make feast of flesh a core made for build spammers (it just give a buff for highest stat). Not just supp spam, it could work for tech, dex and str spammers. So I would increase the stat buff to 40% at least. In this way if you use almost all your points in one stat, you will be getting the same bonus than infernal surge but just in one stat. But you will be paying 125 hp instead. Also I would reduce turns from 5 to 4.

Infernal Surge is an armor core. It's should be better. They removed the energy cost to help it compete with other armor cores since most of the relevant ones also don't cost energy.

But still, I agree it's pretty obvious that Feast of Flesh isn't a very useful core due to skipping a turn and sacrificing health... that's like double suicide for an effect that isn't that useful. Especially because the crit and connect chances only apply to pure strikes. I actually can't believe they made Field Commander crit chance affect gun and aux now but they didn't change anything Feast of Flesh. Both would benefit from simply affecting all attacks, or at least any attack that has to do with primary.

Also, Infernal Surge still kind of sucks even if it's better. The booster nerf helped even the playing field a bit, but c'mon...

Field commander does not improve zooka. There is a mistake in the design notes. Just like you said racing, infernal surge is good or bad, depends on the build. I think it will stay as it While feast of flesh needs a buff. So , +40% could be, or sacrifice less health. Mention other proposals , so we reach an agreement.
