Roxas45 -> Misc/Assorted (8/29/2019 9:47:35)

So... I'm coming back to the game in between breaks from other stuff.
And I'm doing the wheel of doom and I go check what all I can get from it by merging my Treasure potions.
I had forgotten that there was a class as the Mechajouster...

and Now I need to wait at least 4 weeks to get him, cos thats how many treasure potions are needed.
(Unless AE and AQW team make the doom spin once a day for everyone, like they did earlier)

But yeah.
1) Are there any other things like this (the MechaJouster class) that a lot of people have generally forgotten about in the deluge of random updates? I'm personally still on the quest for the Blade of Awe and the Eternity blade but I try coming back to some of the newer stuff.
Something... odd.
Did they release the ChickenCow class anywhere in the middle?

2) I'm at around Level 47 (I think...) and its kinda difficult to level up classes cos at that level, the things that give you CP are also things that will kill you a little too easily without access to the skills you would gain via level up of the class. Where can I go to level up the class till about rank...4? I think, to get all the abilities (non passives) unlocked so I can at least fight things at MY level?

3) Can someone please take a look at my appearance in game? I've got this set to mostly boost the rep, cp, and exp (+ the weapon doing more damage), but as a free player (with very limited ACs), is there anything else I can do to improve the boosts to CP, Rep and Exp by any chance?

Thanks y'all.
Really appreciate it :D

When the Wheel was around in 2013/2014, it was actually only one spin PER MONTH for non members, but daily for members. Now it's once a week via Gears of Doom and once a day for Members + the weekly Doom Gears of Doom spin.

There was a lot of 1 off releases that has happened in the past 5 or so years, after the Chaos Lord stuff ended, you might want to check out the Returning Player's Guide for that, it seems to be mostly up to date up until July 19th. You can find the rest of the releases from there on the wiki's Chronicle of Releases.

There's no Chickencow class in AQW, but we to have an Undead Goat class, although it's Pseudo Rare, requiring you to have an already rare item to merge into it.

You can usually always find people in /join Timespace (level 46 mobs), or /join Shadowrealm (level 54 mobs) that you can piggyback some kills off of (at least while you are not TOO over-leveled for them) until you get your class to a rank where it's self sustaining enough to farm on you own, after which you want to /join Icestormarena, speak to the second NPC and click the "Icewing Elite" button, it will take you to the area of the map with appropriately leveled enemies for level 35-55 with low HP amounts. Once you reach level 55 and level 75 respectively, you unlock higher tiers of the arena, with higher level enemies. Most people tend to stick around the cellar portion of the map, which can be found by going 2 screens up 1 screen left and down the stairs which has level 69-99 mobs. Most classes, as long as they don't start off with some sort of self damage or a single AoE skill, generally are able to handle themselves against Icestormarena mobs well enough, since they only have a couple thousand HP, at most (the level 99 mobs have less than 5k HP, for example) and don't do a super high amount of damage.

First off, 2 or more items that have the same type of boost, for example 2 items with an XP boost cannot be active simultaneously, the last one of them equipped will dictate the boost amount, which feeds into my second point that you should get Blade of Awe and/or Cape of Awe ASAP. The Blade of Awe unlocks a shop in which you can buy Awethur's Accoutrements, which gives 25% extra CP, Gold, XP AND Rep, in a single item as well as the powerful Awe Enhancements, although you probably wont have much use of them until you are level 70, as all of them, except Powerword Die which is mostly a meme enhancement, with an 0.002% chance (or 1 in 50,000) chance of triggering it's special effect, are member only from level 40-60, but level 70-90 and likely future Awe Enhancement are non member.

The Cape has the same boost, however it requires you to be level 55 to get as a non mem (and rank 10 Blade of Awe, but that should be super quick to rank by just spamming the Hilt quest), but it also will let you keep your weapon slot open for damage boosting items. Most damage boosting items, at least the common and most powerful ones are almost always weapons.

Speaking of weapons with damage boosts, you might want to look into getting the Burning Blade from the Celestial Realm, it gives 15% extra damage to everything. Aranx will also have some quests for you to farm other weapons once you complete the Celestial Realm quests which also grants 15% damage boost, in case you want to use something other than Burning Blade, which you can check out here. It's the most common of the "early game" boost weapons and also there's another version of the Burning Blade (at least by name) later on with 30% extra damage to everything, called Burning Blade of Abezeth, but it's base level is 80, so you still got a long way to go for that. You will also have to solo a 620k HP boss, for a 5% chance to get the weapon, so it's not recommended to do it until you are close to or above level 80 anyways.
