War Armor can easily get you into top 50 tbh, and it shouldn't be too hard to get top 25 with it either.

The main advantage of War is that it's extremely straightforward to play with, you just need to use good and old attack button and you're set for success~

No Armor Changing, no Weapon Changing, no clicking Skills, no missclicking the spell you want to use, no Poelala animation, no need to click Essence Orb... Just mash that attack button~

It still has a pretty decent clear speed and needing a minimum of attention makes it a lot easier to war with it for long periods of time without straining yourself~

And as a bonus, you're basically immortal, so no need to worry about dying due to lucky strikes from enemies that are very nuke-heavy (well, there is no Undead Mage in this war though, so dying is quite unlikely anyways.)

Overall, the War Armor is a pretty solid warring armor, even if not as fast as a proper warring setup~

Granted some skill use can speed up War's farming as the fire skill pretty much 1 shots those ice dragons, and the weapon multi attack does chip away quite a bit of hp off them as well. Granted if you take Twilly out he can often hit harder than War can short of lucky strikes thanks to the dragon blade.

Oh, the fire skill was fixed? It was doing negative damage, so I stopped using it... I should have tested again... >.>

Twilly shouldn't hit harder than War though... o.0

Well, I do remember Twilly healing 700ish MP per turn yesterday though, I guess it is still bugged... >.>

Edit: Seems like the Carnage skill is still bugged on my end, I suppose I need to close and open the game to get the fixed version... Oh well, I can do this much, bye bye momentum~

Possible I still had a bugged Twilly but he was doing a bit more than War against proper Dragons by 200 points so put that up to the dragon blade bonus vs War's void weapon.

Oh, don't get me wrong - we did a good job, both as a battle and lore-wise, I fully agree with that. I'm just saying that the whole 'divine fabric, tailored for your destruction thing' was told to us by death - the bystanders have no way of knowing that. They merely saw the start of the fight, and only against a big ugly dragon - not even the biggest or the ugliest that we saw (Akriloth, Limkragg, etc). It's slightly insulting that they think we would fall against a random minion of Zhilo's.

Then again, a last stand fight would not be nearly as impactful, if nobody even believed that we died. [;)]

@Primate Murder Well, I'm not sure most bystanders even know who we are! xD

They probably know the Chosen exists, but they probably don't know our face... The connection was probably made by the people that actually know us. And maybe by Panic, though he was probably too busy with Zhilo to share news.

And like... It may not be the biggest ugliest dragon we ever fought, but we had the Frozen Claymore against Akriloth and the Magical Dragonslaying Armor from Galanoth and Cyrus against Limkragg... So we kinda cheated both of those times! xD

Same goes for most big ugly bad mobs we fought tbh... Which is why fighting against the War-Torn one-on-one having such dire consequences made sense to me... It isn't often that we face a real big bad guy without a cheat to help us.

My apologies if I was unclear - I fully support a fight like this having consequences for us. It's rare to see, and I like it quite a bit. I'm just grumpy that everybody accepted our death without even knowing that the dragon was special in any way, shape or form.

To be fair the Chosen and the Dragon are both buried under a mountain with the War happening so soon there is a fair chance they haven't even had the chance to put efforts to getting our body with there no doubt being spells that could see we were dead seeing we didn't instantly wake up in town like a normal death. Time passed for this death story wise so chances are people may have given up the hope we lived when it wasn't something we shrugged off with ease, and instead went to fulfill what we asked of them before our passing. Granted seems like Alex makes it hard for people to the real life version walking up to them to just be a fan or how I like to think about the current camp situation with the stand in Alex for our normal form.

The War-Torn Dragon definitely wasn't just some run-of-the-mill mook even at first glance. In fact, an NPC of note (*Panic) even asked us if we were sure that they should leave us alone to fight that (despite knowing all of our prior accomplishments).

There was certainly a major crowd looking with rapt attention, desperate for an opening to escape, as the lieutenant of a god doubted whether or not you could take on a foe he recognized the raw power of.

That's quite interesting... Especially because Carnage seems to like us better than the predecessors... In the plural, so he probably saw a decent amount of beings that were War before. Makes us wonder how old Blackhawke is~

Possible Carnage could be also referring to Zhilo forcefully taking him over till we sent him packing, but it is always possible Carnage got plucked from his proper time to always be Carnage seeing he seems the most stable out of the 3 minions. Also going off on a limb assuming the person holding the War Mantle may also influence their chosen with a former pick being summoned by default. Granted the issue with 2 possible Panics, and Mayhem's scattered powers between 2 characters now should make any other summons interesting while also offering some character building. Will our War deem the Dragon King worth taking up the form of Panic to help his people, or will the more controlled Panic be allowed to collect his fragmented memories to allow us to see who they used to be? Hollow himself might also be effected due to that upgraded arm of his but seeing Zhilo didn't hunt him down yet seems like the chances of that may be a tad low however.

My my, the new cut-scene is giving some interesting insight into just how War's power is supposed to work. Carnage's comment about being better than the last few means that this isn't the first time the Mantel has moved around. I was just going through some of the other parts of the questline and Panic made a comment about Carnage not being as smart as he used to be. We can kind of assume there's an influence on the Aspects from War, so the last one was more about causing destruction and Carnage was closer to a brutish beat-stick, whereas with the Chosen Carnage has become more noble, although still a Blood Knight. I'm looking forward to the other two, hopefully a fresh connection will restores Panic's mind.

Pretty curious on who is the new panic as well, maybe we'll also get an insight on how Jalek is actually alive by the end of this~

Is it just me, the skills as War now doesn't let you use it and say "You can not yet draw out your full power."

The skills were meant to be unlocked along with each cutscene, but a bug initially caused them to be accessible from the start.

I would have assumed that the Carnage skill at the very least would be accessible (since the 25% cutscene focuses on Carnage), but none of the skills are currently available. Is that intentional or has there been a mistake where we were supposed to have access to one of the skills but don't have access to any?

Does anyone remember the first war where we can play as NPC giant merc/robot armor? I thought it was war of the giants but that appear to be giant dragons.
