Alex The Invincible -> Breaking Limits (11/9/2019 16:47:43)

I finally hit Level 91! [:D]It took many hours of smashing Voltabolt's toys but I'm glad to see the effort pay off! Here's Alex's character sheet!

TFS -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/9/2019 16:50:44)

This literally shouldn't be possible considering there exists a daily exp cap that would prevent you from earning enough experience to hit level 91 even if you maxed exp every single day since the cap was raised to 90.
How exactly did you do this?

blowthemandown -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/9/2019 17:05:38)

Your DF char page throws an error, something about a helm.

Alex The Invincible -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/9/2019 17:12:18)

@TFS The process was quite simple really. I hit the level cap every day (almost, I missed a day here and there) since the cap was raised to 90 in June 2018.

@blowthemandown The Distorted Doom Visage breaks the character page for some reason. Here is a new link.

That's very funny because Baron Dante has been doing the exact same thing since the day the cap was raised (without missing days) and he's only level 90. Here's his charpage

I noticed that too, but I typed his ID number into PvP and he actually is level 91. I have no idea how he got around the cap.

Vikken101 -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/9/2019 17:27:01)

@TFS Well its been 512 days since June 15. 2018. When the lv cap was raised, so it should be possible now, since it takes 500 days of hitting exp cap.

Alex The Invincible -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/9/2019 17:28:49)

Baron Dante was the one who inspired me to take on this challenge, actually.

TFS -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/9/2019 17:36:36)

Actually, here's some math.

In order to get from level 90 to 91 you need 2,000,000,000 experience. At the time the level cap was raised to 90 (June 15, 2018) the daily cap was 3,000,000 experience, and remained that way until it was raised to 4,000,000 experience on July 13th 2018 and remains that way to this day. That's 28 days, or 84,000,000 experience assuming you capped every single day.
484 days of 4,000,000,000 exp is 1,936,000,000.... wait, wait a minute. This actually is legal.

I'm legitimately impressed, OP, really sorry I doubted you. That's really insane, mad props to you. Can't believe Dante is a slacker smh

Alex The Invincible -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/9/2019 17:42:59)

@TFS Thanks, man. I appreciate it! :)

For some reason the exp requirement to get from 91 -> 92 is 999999999, the original xp cap. Not sure if the developers truly expected someone to try breaking the cap again after the exp requirement was raised but it was only applied for 90 -> 91.

Baron Dante -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/10/2019 18:20:43)

^ There wouldn't be any way Verly didn't expect it, since he should've been pretty aware I was doing it.
Now, here's the thing. I never thought anyone else would do this, because why on earth would you want to do this to yourself, so I might've missed some days. I could've fixed those with overcapping, but y'know.

I'm glad(?) I've inspired someone, but on the other hand, I'm an awful example that shouldn't be followed, so clearly, mistakes were made. Congratz on beating me to it though.

In hindsight, you only wasted 500 days to get level 91. I wasted about 500 days to NOT get 91.

Glais -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/12/2019 2:03:13)

What on earth

Necromencer -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/12/2019 11:08:53)

We're hitting Dragonfable levels that shouldn't even be possible.

Starflame13 -> RE: Breaking Limits (11/12/2019 17:33:47)

Congratulations on the level up! Unfortunately, as this is not really a discussion thread, I will be locking it. Future achievements can be posted about in the =DF= (Dis)Accomplishments thread.
