Psychatik -> Is there a magic Warrior hybrid build? (11/19/2019 6:01:50)

I like using weapons that have special effects, I like using weapons in general. I know as a Warrior it's best to use 0 proc weapons, and i don't like that. Then again, I also love spells, but not exactly nuking with spells, then being useless till you havae MP back. Wanted to know if there was a viable Hybrid build out where I'm a warrior and I attack using Magic weapons, and spells together?

Moved from AQ GD.

Mods might move this to the Q&A section but here goes:

You can do a "traditional" hybrid with stats in STR, DEX, and INT and cast spells then use melee weapons to attack. It's not a terribly good build/playstyle to be using at the moment but it's viable enough you can generally get away with it. With that said, I wouldn't really recommend it until level 150 or close to it, otherwise your stat spread is going to be pretty bad. I'd recommend going with more of a pure warrior (STR and DEX) or pure mage (INT and DEX) and working into your remaining third hybrid stat after maxing out those two.

A far more viable hybrid is werepyre hybrid which goes STR/INT/LUK but at the disadvantage of being basically fully locked to werepyre subrace armors and ultimately involves very little regular damage spell spellcasting so that doesn't sound like what you're looking for.

Edit: It's also worth nothing that while 0proc weapons are technically the best for pure warrior there's no reason you can't use something with a higher proc rate up to about 20% and you should still be able to beat all the content fairly easily. The bonus the 0proc weapon lends is fairly minor overall.
