Black_Crystal -> Hollowborn evoker and hollowborn conjurer sets (12/9/2019 3:22:29)

Are they worth the purchase? Was searching around for information but haven't been successful

Not worth it imo. There are better armors in the game and their bonus only lasts for several months of a year.

The armor is being reworked, so that will not remain the case. Kamui has been experiencing computer issues that delayed the process. In the meantime, the weapons and shield have already been changed to the following specifications (Information via Kamui):

quote:

Weapon does a Poison variant of the Burn thing the Thunder Lord items from last week do, except instead of a toggle, it has a trigger if the enemy is Burned, Bleeding, or Poisoned.

If the foe is under one of those effects, AND you did an attack that round that would have attempted the Poison (so a weapon attack or a skill/spell that matches the damage type/element of the weapon), then you'll replenish (10 * 0.85 * MagMult)% Melee in SP.
MagMult is 0.75 if the weapon is in Magic mode, 1 otherwise.

The shield is kind of like the Umazen Apsis/Emancipator's Radiance. While equipped, it gives a +20 potence to any and all status effects that are flagged as doing damage. So burn, poison, bleed, etc.

I would say with the rework, they are the best of the 50k packages. I would prioritize the Arcane Amplification/Buffalot and booster pet packages over this. Once you get those, these packages are pretty decent options if you are looking to drop a decent chunk of money.
