I don't really understand how the guest works to be honest. Does it start every battle recharged? Or for example if Floater killed enemy, in next battle he will spend 2 first rounds to recharge himself?

He starts every battle with an attack. Then recharges for 2 turns which doesn't cost anything.

The 2 turn recharge does not carry over between battles.

Actually, it should carry over between battles.... I think.
