I've looked around, but I couldn't find anywhere where it says whether GGB's give out Rare and URs randomly,. That is my assumption, but we all know what assuming does.

Also... I doubt this, but is there a way to conver from a CGGB to RGGB to URGGB? ie: 10 CGGB for 1 RGGB or 10 RGGB for 1 URGGB.

Go to Account Management > Character List > click on the character > Gold Prize Swap. You can trade 25 Commons for a Rare and 10 Rares for a UR.

Sweet! Primate Murder to the rescue again. [:D]

While we don't know the exact numbers, it's generally believed through empirical analysis that the rates are around 3% for URs and 10% for Rs, so it's 1 per 33-34 boxes and 1 per 10 boxes, respectively. As you're highly recommended to open 10 boxes at a time for the discount, R GGBs are generally considered pretty easy to come by.

Commons are generally not worth using for the actual shop and are primarily used for conversion because the items inside are all non-MC'd. There are some cool faces, though.

*sigh* I see. I'm just unluck then. 37 GGBs between 5 Characters, and not one URGGB. Few RGGBs though, so lemons -> lemonade

That's not too bad. I know people who have gone a hundred boxes without a UR. I personally went through 60 boxes without a UR or a R before.

OUCH! Well, at least they can be traded up.

The GGB exchange rate is very close to the data we got from players in opening their GGBs, so its safe to say that the ratio has a direct relationship with the probability rate. This means that the exchange acts as averaging force if RNG is unfavorable and losses are well compensated.
I calculated the percentages from the ratios, which is 4% U, 10% R, 86% C.
