Not sure. Also seems like they ramped up the difficulty again. I don't remember him locking out misc last time around.

huh, couldn't remember that. I also remember not getting curb-stomped quite so hard in previous attempts. Ended up having to Ally Assist spam, between the daze infliction, celerity, immunity to stunlocking, soft capping incoming damage, 99 for all blocking, randomly using Energy and Darkness, and hitting like a truck.

Looks like updated MotherRose Staff and MotherSwan Staff as well as a Mother's Day Rose Pet. So will the different elemental Fairy Godmother's end up being seasonal instead of perma rare?

Hmm, I was hoping the Umbral Godmother would have a black dress on, not just a black tiara :o

Also @staff: Can we please rotate the Earth items from the LTS? They've been there way too long and it would be nice to see some other items placed there. It's probably been a year since they've been there? I think it was at least last spring that they were placed there. Thank you!

Look like Starslayer has the power to remove an equiped misc (2020 version). This will occur on Starslayer first turn. Misc menu (except potions) will be locked on Starslayer first turn.

Previously, you could win first turn to equip an misc that last the whole battle.

Tip: try blocking magic attacks (energy and darkness)

Everything people are saying that is (supposedly) new for Starslayer had been around for years as this video from 2018 shows with the items removal happening at 2:10.

Apparently, video evidence is required nowadays, since lolerster already told you guys this, which was ignored for some reason.

I will forgive it since the move was seemingly rare back then (I never got the misc-locking move either), so it seems like the move was changed to be a guarantee to happen on his very first turn. That said, he also changes elements for me too. Not sure if he element seeks too since he randomly changes.

It's not seeking, he used both while I had the same armor and shield (Mecha Knight + E!Ultraguardian Shield). You could try to mitigate the special with a spell or skill like Angel's of Mercy, but his ability to gain celerity at random makes that a bit of a tossup.

I can't access it either, even after beating Starslayer twice.

I've been curious about that "shop" button in the void since I picked the game back up a few months ago. As for Starslayer, Prime Chaos Orb + Thunderlord weapon Gungnir mode + Kindred's successfully one-shot him, though he is nigh-impossible to stop if he gets a turn off.

Very excited to see the void takeover bosses come back- ever since I came back to the game after about 5-7 years of absence, I keep reading about these fantastic rares and kicking myself that I could've been around for them.

I also have wondered what the shop button is for since the void was introduced.

Looking forward to Pyromancer bloodmage. It think all the other void rewards have other better options.

There are some very good other items from the Void bosses. Fruitcake Zard is among the best water guests in the game. Gemini is a fantastic compression option for two relatively weaker elements. Greater Water Orb is the best water attacking misc in the game. Mogdin is a fantastic energy guest. Woolzard is the best earth pet in the game. Of course, most of these are for beastmasters, so they probably aren't going into most players' active inventories. Greater Water Orb is the only one that really benefits offensive players.

The Void boss has rotated. However, it has rotated to Gemini instead of Smittens. Defeating Gemini opens a shop that gives the "shop is clan restricted" message and shows nothing.

Bosses will be the same for both severs.

Bugs for the shop, boss rotation, and portal painting have all been fixed!
